Services occur both onsite and, in the community, and community employment is also an option for eligible individuals. 

Offers Child Care Expense Assistance through the Iowa Department of Human services is available to the children of income-eligible parents who are absent for a portion of the day due to employment or participation in academic or vocational training or PROMISE JOBS activities. Offers free GED preparation classes in Spanish and English to adults in the community. Additional incentives include:

- Free official practice GED tests.

- Constitution test.

- Partial scholarship to cover the official GED Exam fees.

- Free college course to GED graduates.

Provides short-term counseling, advocacy, support groups, intervention programs, and immediate assistance for individuals affected by domestic violence. Services include helping victims and survivors understand the dynamics of abuse, offering tools for empowerment, and addressing the damaging effects of violence.

Immediate assistance may include steps to ensure safety, short-term emotional support, assistance with shelter, legal information and advocacy, referrals for medical treatment, and ongoing counseling or group support. Intervention programs may include classes or group sessions that educate offenders on the cycle of abuse, tactics of power and control, and the importance of taking responsibility for their actions. These programs also teach skills such as problem-solving, conflict resolution, stress management, and communication to foster healthy relationships.

Victim panels may also be available, allowing survivors to share their experiences and the impact of abuse on their lives. Hotline staff are generally available via telephone, email, chat, and/or text to provide support and guidance.

911 services assess requests for emergency assistance and dispatch the appropriate emergency response agency (police, fire, paramedics, etc.).

Provides Medicaid and Medicare-certified low cost clinics offering "one stop shop" for general health care needs.

Meals served daily to residents and the community.  Lunch is not served on the weekends.

Offers workshops that teach individuals and families how to get more out of money and how to save money for financial goals. This is a series of workshops that are a blend of instruction and hands on activities so each concept can be mastered.
