Housekeeping and supportive services to include grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, transportation and personal care.
Family Caregiver Support for those caring for an aging adult or grandparents caring for a minor child. Provides information, assistance, support group, respite care, and supplemental services.
Home delivered meals are provided to homebound by reason of illness, disability or isolation. The meals meet 1/3 of the daily dietary recommended needs of adults 60 years and over and the requirements of the Older Americans Act and state and local laws.

Free school supplies and backpacks are available to children in need via the Ramblin' Rose bus, and at the regular Effingham location. The bus travels to towns in the seven-county area to provide the supplies.
School clothing is also available from the bus, or families may choose to receive a voucher and shop for their clothing at Second Hand Rose Resale Shoppe in the Effingham Catholic Charities location.

For Christmas 2025:
Offers the Operation Santa program, where qualifying parents can pick out gifts for their children (ages 0-18) at a pop-up shop in December (date to be determined; by appointment only).
Visit the office and fill out an application before the deadline (Nov 22, 2025); parents will then be pre-approved for a time to come and select gifts for their children. Gift options include new and gently used clothing, games, puzzles, etc. Parents also receive a $50 gift card and $50 voucher for each child.

Offers short-term counseling to seniors in their home (McLean County only) or through a virtual platform (all other counties). The program focuses on positive behavior activation to break the depression cycle. Those interested in the PEARLS Counseling program must be screen for appropriateness and will be referred to other resources if found to be ineligible at the time of screening.
