Provides the following services to those with special needs in the community:

Day Habilitation Supported community living promotes skill building services that are unique and individualized to each participant. Supported employment promotes skill building services in paid work environments. Supported education provided to individuals enrolled in post-secondary institutions or other employer recognized certificate program. Including HiSET (formally GED), career exploration and planning, assistance in obtaining tuition and related expenses, application process, study strategies, assistance in obtaining tutoring and accommodations, and other supports needed that interfere with educational success.

Community college.

GED preparation and testing.

ESL - English as a Second language classes.

Adult basic education, including literacy, job seeking, and life skills education.

Citizenship preparation.

Tutors available in various locations in the Panhandle.

Single parent / displaced homemaker program provides career counseling, dependent care, non-traditional training, skills training, technology training, books and tuition, personal counseling, support groups, and transportation. Contact a student services advisor for information.

Veterans Upward Bound programs offer intensive basic skills development and short-term remedial courses for military veterans to help them successfully transition to post-secondary education.

Offers a  partnership with families who receive FIP to provide them with the support they need to gain independence from public assistance. The program is voluntary and does not affect FIP benefits. It is focused on families success and growth. Contact your local outreach center for more information.

Behavioral health therapy services, including drug-free treatment for depression symptoms, trauma recovery, counseling for individuals, couples and families, and more.

Provides support to pregnant people and parents with young children ages 0-5 who live in communities that face greater risks and barriers to achieving positive maternal and child health outcomes. Families choose to participate in home visiting programs, and partner with health, social service, and child development professionals to set and achieve goals that improve their health and well-being.

Provides a durable medical equipment loan program. Offering a variety of equipment to check out for temporary or short term use for a trial or leading to a purchase for recreational purposes such wheelchairs, bathing equipment or adaptive bicycles to assist with mobility, communication, daily living, sensory and recreation and leisure activities.

Offers basketball, computer labs, tutoring, kid's and teen's programs, recreation, leadership training, youth employment, Bible studies, and a safe, fun place for youth to go.

Offers a summer camp (June-August) in a safe and friendly environment for children in grades 1st-6th while their parents are at work or in school. Provides breakfast snack, lunch, and dinner snack daily during camp.

Included are activities such as:

- Recreation.

- Crafts.

- Reading club.

- Mentoring.

- Local field trips.

Program for students struggling with emotional, learning, and behavioral issues.

Equipment available includes seating/positioning devices, bathing/toileting equipment, standing devices, wheeled mobility, and electronic aids to daily living. Evaluations and fittings provided.

Specific programs include:

- "Amtryke" program provides adapted tricycles.

- "iCan Bike" program teaches children how to ride a bicycle.

- Augmentative/Alternative Communication uses high-tech devices and low-tech strategies to facilitate communication and speech development.

Crisis intervention for run-away, locked-out, homeless, and ungovernable youth. Ensures youth get emergency psychiatric or substance abuse treatment if needed, follow-up care plan for youths reunited with family, and short-term or long-term placements if reunification is not immediately possible.

Offers an emergency food pantry once every 30 days for canned goods, packaged foods and other staples.

Age-appropriate educational programs are available to students from preschool through college to help raise awareness of sexual violence. Prevention programs are also available to community members interested in learning more about sexual violence. Programs are tailored to meet audience needs.

Professional trainings are also available to service providers and professionals to increase knowledge of sexual violence and raise awareness of community resources. Programs topics include personal body safety, sexual harassment, sexual assault, date rape drugs, and teen dating violence.

Offers WIC, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, administered in Illinois by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

A WIC EBT card will be provided to families so they can purchase healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, peanut butter, beans, lentils, whole grains, 100% juice, cereal, infant cereal, baby food and formula.

Breastfeeding mothers may also receive tuna fish and salmon.
