Provides emergency financial assistance for low-income individuals and families in Macon County. Assistance covers basic needs such as water bill and prescription payment costs.

Also offers financial support for the following on a case-by-case basis water bills, state issued IDs and birth certificates, GED testing fees, gas for out-of-town doctor appointments, bus cards and tokens, diapers and baby formula, and assistance with work-related items.

Provides skill training, paid work opportunities, community integration and employment to individuals in order to enhance and maintain their independence in community living. The program gives support, assistance and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities.

HCBS (HOME AND COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES) programs provide training and support to people living in shared homes in the community with opportunities for learning skills to help develop independence. (Pella/Knoxville and Indianola/Des Moines regions).  SPIRITUAL SERVICES are available to all clients.

Fresh food, such as bread, baked goods, dairy products, eggs, and juice; bread is available every day of the week, depending on the supply; dairy products and other refrigerated items based on availability.

Hospital offering acute, skilled, emergency, outpatient, and specialty services.

Provides child care services in a developmentally appropriate, interactive learning environment.

Services offered:

- Enhanced preschool services in partnership with the Rockford Public School's Early Childhood Program.

- Infant/toddler care.

- Before and after-school child care.

- School-age summer and holiday care.

- Nutritional services.

- Comprehensive family support system.

Offers mental health evaluations. Services include anxiety disorders screening, clinical psychiatric evaluation, depression screening, early intervention for mental illness, gambling addiction screening, and general mental health screening.

Provides a 12-hour OWI class for individuals who have been charged with OWI (Operating While Intoxicated). 

Supports involvement at work and in the community through habilitative community inclusion, habilitative workshop, prevocational services, and supported employment services.

Provides parenting education, coaching, and family support services designed to strengthen parent-child relationships and improve family functioning. Services include parenting skills coaching, youth engagement and mentoring, reunification support and coordination, and trauma-informed support for families involved with HHS, court systems, or high-conflict family situations. Providers may work directly with parents one-on-one or participate in parent-child interactions through Zoom or in-person sessions.

Offers school bus driver training and refresher courses. Two types of trainings are offered, the initial bus driver training (8 hours) for new school bus drivers and refresher workshops (2 hours) which is required before the new school year. 

Encourages members to remain active in their community and maintain social engagement with other seniors and the broader community.

Offers behavioral health center providing comprehensive psychiatric care that complements the counseling and therapy programs. The psychiatric team provides evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care for clients of all ages. Taking an integrated approach, coordinating with counselors, primary care providers, and community organizations to ensure each client receives the right care at the right time.

Counseling services covering a range of topics, including:

- Depression and anxiety.

- Grief and relationship concerns.

- Alcohol and drug use, including opioids and heroin.

- ADHD assessment and treatment.

- Bipolar Disorder.

- Difficult life transitions.

- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

- Health issues related to diet, exercise, tobacco use, etc.

Counseling services also available at certain local schools.

Provides assistance to seniors to help them remain in their own homes. Services include errand running and shopping, meal preparation and assistance, help with laundry and light housekeeping, personal grooming assistance, companionship, in-home support, and respite care.

Offers medical grade pregnancy testing, limited obstetric ultrasound, limited sexually transmitted infection testing for females, Forever Loved program -perinatal hospice and miscarriage care.

Other medical services include pregnancy option counseling, adoption referrals, and community resource referrals.

Provides resources to families including a children's clothing boutique, diapers, wipes, and other baby items. All items are donated.

Offers REAL Choices student and adult education programs.

Offers outpatient mental health therapy and treatment that is centered on intervention. Services include individual, marital and family counseling. Treatment available for anxiety, depression, loss, teen issues, divorce, issues around blended families, abuse and neglect, and anger management.

Preschool and Head Start program.

Service coordination and home visitation program.

Developmental testing, speech and language pathologist, occupational and physical therapists, and vision and hearing consultants.

Parent support groups.

Provides a liberal arts college offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

Provides day habilitation and community integration services to build and improve skills for daily living, self-care, social skills, and community living.
