Provides treatment for persons with cancer including radiation therapy, education and support for the individuals and their families. Information is also available to anyone who wishes it regarding a specific cancer, cancer treatments, national clinical trials, and oncology referrals.

Insurance counseling service for Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers provided by trained and certified SHIP counselors SHIP counselors can advise on:

• Medicare managed care plans (HMO, PPO, & PFFS)
• Other health insurance
• Prescription drug coverage (Medicare D)
• Filing Medicare and Medicare Supplement claims

• Extra Help (a federal program to assist low-income seniors with Medicare D associated costs)

Offers to resell used clothing, furniture, household items, toys, games, and similar items at affordable costs to benefit Animal Lifeline of Iowa. Donations, including toys and games, are accepted and may be repaired if necessary for resale or distribution.

Services include orders of protection and understanding court procedures, services are available in-person and online. Medical advocacy is available for participant emergencies or to address ongoing health concerns. Services are available on an individual basis as well as in group settings with other survivors.

Offers a free and confidential crisis line for veterans. Can also help with local suicide prevention coordinators, who can connect veterans to ongoing counseling and services in their area.

Offers government subsidized housing options.

Provides a shelter for sick, injured, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats. Adoptions are available.

Provides service coordination, nutrition services, and health assessments for children ages 0-3 enrolled in Early ACCESS (Early intervention for infants and toddlers).

- For residents of Nebraska City, home delivered meals must be arranged through the city's Meals on Wheels program.
