CASA of Scotts Bluff County
Recruits, screens, trains, and supports volunteers (Court Appointed Special Advocates) who are appointed by a juvenile court judge to advocate for a child, who is under the jurisdiction of the court due to abuse or neglect.
CASAs maintain contact with the children during the entire court jurisdiction period. Work with attorneys, therapists, parents, foster parents, and all adults involved with the child; and get to know the child's needs and makes reports to the court, so a more informed decision can be made.

The transitions program provides support to individuals and their families during the last year of life, including emotional support and respite care. Bereavement support may also be provided.

Provides access to a 24 hour helpline with care coordination specialists offering resource referrals, case management and support to Illinois Veterans, family members, or caregivers experiencing emotional challenges associated with PTSD, mild TBI, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), stress, anxiety, depression, addiction and substance abuse.

Full time fire department that is staffed all year around. Besides responding to emergency requests, the department is committed to fire prevention measures through three strategies:
- Fire safety education for children, young adults, and senior citizens through a fire station visit or site visit. Fire safety education includes safe cooking, escaping the home during a fire, and general fire safety in the home. Senior citizen safety education includes fall prevention and how to contact 911.
- The Juvenile Firesetter Program is a voluntary 4-step education program for children 4-18 years old who exhibit signs of fire setting behavior.
- The Fire Department supports citizens who need assistance with smoke detector maintenance and will install smoke detectors in the home, if requested.

Provides an access point for the community's homeless response system. Individuals and families who are at imminent risk of homelessness (with no house, apartment, etc. to stay tonight) will complete an assessment and receive help to find housing options.
Epilepsy Foundation Iowa
Offers referrals to services that are available statewide. Educational materials are available. Call for locations of support groups. Customized Epilepsy education programs are available for a variety of audiences, which includes seizure recognition and first aid certification, seizure training for school personnel and seizure training for school nurses at Learn.Epilepsy.com. Annual Iowa Seizure Smart Conference features clinicians and other epilepsy experts, and introduces participants to a wide range of topics of interest to persons with epilepsy and their families.

Provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for families unable to create a meal themselves. There are two options for a meal - a homemade meal offered at the facility on the holiday or, can provide a Christmas dinner box to struggling families. Each box feeds a family of six and includes meat, potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, biscuits, cake mix and more.
