Provides circuit court services to Edgar County residents. It is a non-judicial office of the Judicial Branch of Illinois State government. Maintains all Circuit Court records for both civil and criminal cases and also collect fines and assessments ordered by the court, to be disbursed accordingly.

Maximum $15,000 for energy-related weatherization and repair work (per client's home). Maximum $3,500 for health and safety-related measures.

Offers intensive outpatient programs providing treatment and care for individuals who have issues with substance use. Offers more structure and support than traditional outpatient therapy. Consists of day programs that allow individuals to return home after treatment each day.

Recreational facilities include a fitness center, aquatics center, and sports fields and courts.  Youth sports programs and classes are also offered, including swim lessons.

The County Clerk’s office serves as the official record keeper for births, marriages/civil unions, and deaths occurring in the City of Springfield and Sangamon County. The Department of Vital Records provides certified copies of these documents to eligible individuals upon request. Additionally, the Sangamon County Clerk’s office issues marriage and civil union licenses to eligible couples and offers administrative support by maintaining court files, records, and exhibits, as well as handling financial matters to assist in managing the flow of cases through the court system.

Offers free, face-to-face group that helps clients learn tools that empower ongoing recovery. This group was developed to address addiction and ways to address challenges with substances, shopping, internet, sex, and other addictive behaviors.

Works with families to get them enrolled in the 1st Five Healthy Mental Development Initiative. 1st Five program builds partnerships between physician practices and public service providers to enhance high-quality well-child care. 1st Five promotes the use of developmental tools that support healthy mental development for young children during the first five years. By using a tool for all children that includes social-emotional development and family risk factors, providers are able to identify children at risk for developmental concerns that, if left untreated, would play out later in life.

Emergency food boxes and pantry items.

Provides engineering and design of County roadway projects, including local resurfacing and bridge replacement. The division is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the County Secondary Road System, including ditch cleaning, roadway surface repairs, bridge and culvert repairs, and snow removal.
