Provides the emergency operations center for the County, which handles emergency response incidents, including accidents, fires, floods, storms and other disasters. Also responsible for requesting federal assistance after a disaster. The agency acts as an intermediary between the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and local emergency management organizations, ensuring the seamless coordination of disaster response and recovery operations.

Offers instant urinary analysis (UAs), oral swabs, sweat patches, and breathalyzers in the Western and Central Service areas.

Provides delivery of hot meals to home-bound seniors. Additional frozen meals available to be used for dinner and on weekends.

Provides substance abuse services to the Latino community. Services include:

- DUI evaluations and risk education.

- Outpatient treatment for substance abuse.

- Treatment for family / Codependent.

- Individual or group counseling.

- Adolescent treatment.

Offers two residential programs for men with developmental disabilities and intellectual disabilities intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs), Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILAs). 

Residents participate in a variety of programs, including vocational opportunities and community day services to learn and develop skills. Also provide clinic services with nursing on staff.

Food pantry available to individuals in need.

Provides students with free laundry services including soap to wash their clothing. Students are able to wash and dry two baskets of clothing for free. Program is on a first come, first serve basis. Students and parents are able to secure a spot by signing up online.
