Open to moms, dads, and interested family members, this one-time, two-hour class discusses issues related to breast feeding. Topics include the advantages of breast feeding, proper latching on, milk production, breast care, nutrition and breast pumps. It is designed for mothers who are in or beyond their 6th month of pregnancy.

Offers an urban farm where fresh produce is grown using sustainable practices. Some of the produce is sold weekly at Cultivate Hope Market, where income-qualified households can purchase produce at half-price.
Also provides opportunities for community engagement, including volunteering on the farm, renting a community garden, and offering seasonal employment opportunities for youth, particularly during the summer months, to support skill development and income generation.

LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) assists low-income homeowners and renters pay for a portion of their primary heating costs for the winter heating season. Also encourages households to make regular utility payments, to promote energy awareness and to encourage reduction of energy usage. All customers applying for this prgram will simultaneously be making an application for weatherization assistance as required by state law. Assistance is based on household income. size, type of fuel, and type of housing. Applications accepted October 1-April 30 for the elderly and disabled households and November 1-April 30 for the rest of the households.

Ecology Action Center
Provides information on annual household hazardous waste collections (HHW) for McLean County residents. The following examples are common household hazardous wastes such as oil-based paints and paint thinners, insecticides, herbicides, pesticides, used motor oil, old gasoline, mercury, fluorescent lamp bulbs, and antifreeze. By law, no hazardous materials may be collected by the EAC outside of permitted HHW collection events. No materials of any kind are accepted at the EAC office.

YES Street Outreach
Street-based outreach services runaway youth and youth experiencing homelessness, near-homelessness, or street dependency.
Drop-in center services include food, basic first aid and hygiene supplies, advocacy, education and information, and referrals to appropriate community service providers. A nurse is onsite three days per week and offers testing for sexually transmitted diseases.
