Provides in-home case management as well as 24-hour response to emergencies. Services include a case manager who will monitor individuals weekly to ensure they are linked with the necessary resources and referrals for both inpatient and outpatient drug treatment programs. Services may also include weekly in-home and out-of-home counseling for adults, children, couples, and families. Families may also be referred to a number of community-based services, including medical services, counseling, drug or alcohol treatment support groups, food pantries, housing, employment training, and continuing education programs. 

Offers Child Care Expense Assistance through the Iowa Department of Human services is available to the children of income-eligible parents who are absent for a portion of the day due to employment or participation in academic or vocational training or PROMISE JOBS activities. Provides information, assistance, and referrals to caregivers of older adults to help with necessary services and supports. Staff can also help the caregiver determine if the person they are caring for is receiving benefits they may be eligible for that could reduce the caregiver's costs.

Behavioral and mental health counseling (psychotherapy) for adults and couples. Psychotherapy services are usually but not always covered by medical insurance plans and employee assistance programs. Services can be short term solution focused problem solving, or cognitive behavioral restructuring for emotional or other more trauma-based symptoms. Services provided in person or by telehealth. 

For those who have documented long-term disability(s) and have lost housing, PSH offers more supportive services and rent subsidies without a specific time limit.

Connects adult volunteers age 55+ with opportunities to engage in service to the community. Volunteers choose what fits their passions, interests, and schedules. The agency partners with the public, non-profit, and health care organizations to address needs in the areas of education, food security, independent living, financial security, disaster, and more.

Provides a free grab and go meal at various sites and libraries throughout Lee County for the youth in the summer while school is out of session. Meals include peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, crackers, granola bars, and fruit. All library sites will have meals available during library hours.
