Congregate Meals - All participating senior centers participate in both congregate meal and home delivered meal programs to help ensure the basic wellness of seniors. For those lacking a proper nutritious meal or unable to obtain meals by normal means, call the local senior center for assistance.

Offers supervised living options to people with developmental disabilities and mental illness. Everyone who receives residential services can participate in any of Crosspoint’s community day services, vocational, skills training or therapy services, depending on their needs.

Provides immediate treatment and diagnosis for minor illnesses and injuries.

Diabetes self-management education program.

Support groups related to diabetes.

Provides comprehensive support services for individuals and families facing mental health or behavioral challenges. Families build a personalized support team that may include professionals, service providers, friends, mentors, and other trusted individuals. 

Crisis intervention for run-away, locked-out, homeless, and ungovernable youth. Services include emergency psychiatric or substance abuse treatment (if needed), a follow-up care plan for youths reunited with family, and short-term or long-term placements if reunification is not immediately possible.

Provides substance abuse evaluations, OWI screenings and assessment services. Treatment may include outpatient care, intensive outpatient care (IOC), or inpatient care in a hospital or residential setting. Intensive outpatient programs are session-based group programs that provide education, therapy and support to help individuals through the recovery process. Services may also include individual therapy, couples therapy, or group therapy, and continuing care to help maintain a healthy lifestyle. 

Offers health care services for women veterans of all ages. Primary care providers specialize in women’s health, including specialists in gynecology, obstetrics, female urology, oncology, medicine, radiology, surgery, and breast illness.

Provides young people, both boys and girls an opportunity to develop a set of core values based on the Scout Oath and Law. This is accomplished through adult volunteers, as they teach appreciation of the outdoors and the world through camping, community service, teaching leadership, and more.

Young people also learn the skills of goal setting and achievement as they work toward the Eagle Scout Award.

Provides a recreation pass that provides a discount to families for activities at the Knoxville Recreation Center. Families who qualify receive 50% off of monthly passes to use the fitness rooms, pool and much more.

Unemployment Insurance benefits assist individuals who are unemployed through no fault of their own. Benefits are paid from the Nebraska State Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund. The fund is supported solely by a special tax on employers. Unemployment claims are filed online at NEworks.nebraska.gov.

Offers to assist a relative caregiver who wants to obtain guardianship through probate court of a relative's child living in the home of the caregiver. This includes

- Educating and helping the caregiver negotiate the probate court system.

• Assisting caregivers to obtain required documents.
• Arranging for legal counsel in counties where legal counsel is necessary.

  EFSP caseworkers meet with the relative caregiver monthly until guardianship has been obtained or until other services have been provided. These services can include crisis intervention, applying for benefits, working with local schools for the child's enrollment, and referral to a range of needed services that the caregiver may have to help meet the basic needs of the family.

Head Start is an educational program to help prepare children for transition into kindergarten and provides health screenings and nutrients. Transportation is available at most locations. Early Head Start is specific to meet the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Offers home-based options with a weekly visit from a teacher in the family's home along with two special days a month for activities with other families.

Coordinated network of services and supports that address the needs of a child's behavioral health care. Includes:

- Coordinates next steps when a child has a potential behavioral health issue or if a screening has indicated a potential concern

- Support from other parents who have experienced the process of planning behavioral health care

- Informational sessions to learn more about children's behavioral health and relevant child and family wellness topics

Offers primary health care/family medicine services. Services include birth control counseling, childhood immunizations, general physical examinations, gynecology services, confidential HIV testing, pregnancy testing, seasonal flu vaccinations, sexually transmitted disease screening, shingles immunizations, and well baby care.

Serves children and young adults with developmental disabilities in community integrated, 4 person group homes.

Children receive 24-hour support and supervision. Nursing, physical therapy, psychiatric, and behavior management services are also offered. 

Activities for children to participate in include Boy and Girl Scouts, Therapeutic horseback riding, school activities, going to movies, museums, zoos, hopping, and other community activities.
