Services include emergency psychiatric or substance abuse treatment (if needed), a follow-up care plan for youths reunited with family, and short-term or long-term placements if reunification is not immediately possible.

Provides substance abuse evaluations, OWI screenings and assessment services. Treatment may include outpatient care, intensive outpatient care (IOC), or inpatient care in a hospital or residential setting. Intensive outpatient programs are session-based group programs that provide education, therapy and support to help individuals through the recovery process. Services may also include individual therapy, couples therapy, or group therapy, and continuing care to help maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Unemployment Insurance benefits assist individuals who are unemployed through no fault of their own. Benefits are paid from the Nebraska State Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund. The fund is supported solely by a special tax on employers. Unemployment claims are filed online at NEworks.nebraska.gov.
DCFS - Springfield - 6th Street
Offers to assist a relative caregiver who wants to obtain guardianship through probate court of a relative's child living in the home of the caregiver. This includes
- Educating and helping the caregiver negotiate the probate court system.
- Assisting caregivers to obtain required documents.
- Arranging for legal counsel in counties where legal counsel is necessary.
EFSP caseworkers meet with the relative caregiver monthly until guardianship has been obtained or until other services have been provided. These services can include crisis intervention, applying for benefits, working with local schools for the child's enrollment, and referral to a range of needed services that the caregiver may have to help meet the basic needs of the family.

Coordinated network of services and supports that address the needs of a child's behavioral health care. Includes:
- Coordinates next steps when a child has a potential behavioral health issue or if a screening has indicated a potential concern
- Support from other parents who have experienced the process of planning behavioral health care
- Informational sessions to learn more about children's behavioral health and relevant child and family wellness topics
Veterans Memorial Hospital Medical Clinic
Offers primary health care/family medicine services. Services include birth control counseling, childhood immunizations, general physical examinations, gynecology services, confidential HIV testing, pregnancy testing, seasonal flu vaccinations, sexually transmitted disease screening, shingles immunizations, and well baby care.

Serves children and young adults with developmental disabilities in community integrated, 4 person group homes.
Children receive 24-hour support and supervision. Nursing, physical therapy, psychiatric, and behavior management services are also offered.
Activities for children to participate in include Boy and Girl Scouts, Therapeutic horseback riding, school activities, going to movies, museums, zoos, hopping, and other community activities.
