Diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and education for persons with known or suspected sexually transmitted infections within Lancaster County. Services include screening for sexually transmitted infections including HIV, treatment for persons diagnosed with sexually transmitted infections and their contacts, follow-up on diagnosed patients and their contacts, referral to private physicians as necessary, and sexually transmitted infection information and education.

Offers free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) classes to individuals interested in finding employment in healthcare. The two-week CNA training course covers essential skills for patient care, including healthcare basics, patient assistance, vital sign monitoring, infection control, nursing procedures, communication, safety, medical terminology, ethics, and specialized care.

Provides bereavement support groups and other grief assistance for bereaved individuals. Bereavement services are open to anyone. Individuals do not need to have had a previous experience with care from Hospice of Dubuque.

Provides several programs that may be able to assist families or individuals that find themselves homeless with no place to stay.

Emergency Shelters may be provided through hotel vouchers when funding is available.

Staff will work with the families/individuals to determine eligibility and will provide case management and assist in locating housing that will meet the household's needs.

Assists households with rent and supportive services while the household participates in case management. Case management will include budget counseling, goal setting, assessment of needs, and referrals.

Provides the city government departments and other city information.

Home care services including nursing, rehabilitative therapies, psychiatric nursing services, home health aides, meal preparation, errands and grocery shopping, household assistance, and respite care.

Also offers home provider care services, including companionship, light housekeeping, and assistance with activities of daily living to help you safely stay independent at home.

Provides high school students with a practical foundation in essential financial concepts, covering budgeting, saving, investing, and financial planning. Students will have the opportunity to apply these financial skills through simulations and scenarios using real-world financial data, building lifelong financial literacy skills.

The Population Health team is a free resource available to help patients reach their health and wellness goals.

Nurse Health Coaches work one-on-one with patients and their families to evaluate health needs, environmental factors, and other barriers to their health and wellness. They then help patients establish plans and goals to achieve a healthy lifestyle, working closely with local and state resources to ensure that each person receives the support that they need.

24/7 Crisis intervention for at-risk, run-away, abused, neglected, and homeless youth ages 11-17. The goal is to divert youth from the juvenile justice and/or child welfare systems.

Follow-up counseling provided to stabilize youth and families.

Assists with short-term and long-term placements if family reunification is not immediately possible.

Offers a number of supportive, Christian-oriented peer-to-peer small groups for empty nesters, parents of teens, men, women, seniors, young families, young adults, and singles.

Assists with providing eyeglasses or contact lenses to enrolled tribal members living in the Tribe’s service area.

- Adults: 1 pair/year, up to $500.

- Children: 2 pairs/year, up to $500.

- Contact lens users must follow the same prescription process; contact the clinic to have an order submitted to McPeak Optometry in Hiawatha.
