Embarras River Basin Agency (ERBA) - Cumberland County
Financial assistance available (when funding is available) to income eligible applicants who have suffered a loss of income through an event that was out of their control. These funds can be used to pay one month rent (no deposits) for those in danger of being evicted from their home due to nonpayment of rent. Assistance is also available to help with water bills.
Omni Inventive Care
Short term, team approach providing therapeutic and skill-building interventions within the home. Families referred may have severe mental health issues, abuse and neglect issues, or youth with serious emotional and behavioral disturbances. The major goal of this program is to prevent an out-of-home placement of the youth or reunify families and stabilize placement. Treatment typically lasts 12-18 weeks and parents are asked to complete special play time assignments with their children between sessions. Coaching focuses on behavioral principles to strengthen the family relationship, supportive patterns of communication and child management skills.
Omni provides this service to preserve the family’s integrity and prevent unnecessary out-of-home placements, to put adolescents and their families in touch with community resources for long term outside support, and to strengthen the family’s coping skills and capacity to function effectively in the community after treatment is completed.
Will County Center for Community Concerns
Provides weatherization services to low income households, which helps conserve fuel and reduce energy costs by making homes and apartments more energy efficient. Also provides many health and safety upgrades.
Services vary, but may include insulation installation, HVAC repair or replacement, electric base load reduction (lighting and refrigerator replacement), and air sealing.
Maximum $15,000 for energy-related weatherization and repair work (per client's home). Maximum $3,500 for health and safety-related measures.

Offers to promote health and quality of life by preventing or controlling those diseases or deaths that result from interactions between people and the places they live, work and play. The programs employ several strategies to prevent health hazards including education, surveillance, routine inspections, sampling, posting, and enforcement where necessary.

Provides rides to the Peoria VA Outpatient Clinic. Riders must return from Peoria Clinic unless veteran is hospitalized in Peoria. Veteran's appointment at Peoria VA Clinic will be verified by VAC before the travel date.

Al-Anon is for family members and friends who are concerned about someone's drinking. Alateen is for teenagers dealing with someone's alcoholism, usually a parents' drinking.

Provides a Veteran's Employment Specialist to assist with coordinating counseling, testing, and identifying training and employment opportunities for veterans.
New Opportunities - Dallas County
Provides enhanced services to pregnant and post-partum women, health education services such as the importance of continued prenatal care, prenatal and postpartum nutrition education services, normal changes during pregnancy, self-care during pregnancy, and warning signs to report to a doctor. Can also provide information on labor and delivery, the normal process of labor, signs of labor, coping skills, danger signs, referrals to child birth classes, and breastfeeding information and support!
Presumptive eligibility for Medicaid can be processed by staff at New Opportunities, Inc. Presumptive eligibility is temporary Title 19 insurance for pregnant women while it is being determined if eligible for Medicaid services.

LifeThrive - Fayette County
Offers a new treatment for mental illness which involves the assessment of clinical imbalances through the patient's medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests. Functional medicine also looks into the genetic makeup of a patient and environmental factors such as diet, physical activities, traumatic experience, and exposure to toxic substances.
