Offers a program for parents and youth individuals ages 10-14 to work together and build relationships. Participants will practice skills, play learning games, and do family projects in highly interactive sessions. Sessions are designed to increase family bonding, build positive communication skills, and solve problems together. 

Provides a jail/prison ministry dedicated to serving women needs both inside and outside of jail/prison. Women still in jail or prison will receive weekly messages of encouragement. Those released from jail/prison will receive continued support and encouragement from advocates from GROW and can accompany women with sentence hearings and court appearances. Additionally, any woman enrolled in GROW’s Jail/Prison Ministry, must actively participate in a local faith-based community.

Administers probation supervision, pre-trial release, pre-sentence investigation, and parole services, including programs that oversee individuals under legal custody and facilitate movement between jurisdictions or facilities. 

Conducts bail hearings to determine release conditions, bail amounts, or detention status for individuals awaiting trial. Utilizes electronic monitoring technology, such as transmitters and location tracking equipment, to monitor offenders confined to their homes or awaiting judicial procedures. 

Offers low-risk probation for minimum supervision offenders with individualized court-ordered conditions to be completed within a designated timeframe.

Supports individuals during times of crisis through confidential conversions.

Provides a sex education curriculum geared to decrease teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections (STI), and HIV.

Provides 24-hour skilled nursing care services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Services include chronic disease management, nutritional services, wound care, diabetes management, physical and speech therapy, pain management, respiratory therapy, behavior modification, and transportation to specialty appointments. 

Investigates allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older adults and persons with disabilities who live in domestic (non-institutional) setting.

Once a report has been filed, a caseworker will make a home visit to investigate any allegations of abuse and assist the victim. Interventions will be offered to the victim and referrals made to the appropriate organizations. Interventions can include but are not limited to in-home services, legal, medical, relocation, and counseling.

Offers a matching fund program to help with utility bills for Ameren customers only.

Coordination of law enforcement, Health and Human Service, prosecutors, healthcare professionals, and advocates to respond to abuse and sexual assault.

Referral source for victims of child abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and abused or neglected vulnerable adults.

Provides social service information to individuals upon request. If it requires outside assistance of another WCPA department or an outside Social Service agency, a referral and follow-up contact are made.

Information and education for those with celiac disease and gluten sensitivities.

Support groups throughout the country.

Provides recovery support services that are focused on helping individuals navigate treatment options, complete treatment, and provide comprehensive long-term support for recovery. Each community member has a Recovery Support Specialist to help develop a recover plan, secure housing and wrap-around services, and maintain long-term sobriety.

Offers individual, couples, and family counseling, medication management, Substance use disorders, and domestic violence education.

Provides the use of FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.

Provides accurate information on adoption, and lifelong support, so the family is successful in meeting the child’s best interest by offering the following services and resources:

Provides free and confidential pregnancy counseling for families, every step of the way; before, during, and after the birth of the child.

Assistance with making an adoption plan or parenting plan.

Parenting education. Support and education for baby's father on request.

Home studies for prospective adoptive parents.

Newborn care home for baby as a safe haven.

Provides meals to those in need.

St. Patrick's Church hosts a meal on Wednesday evenings at 5 pm. Guests are welcome for coffee and relaxation starting at 4 pm, with a meal being served at 5 pm.

St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 1199 Main Street, hosts dinner on Saturday at 5:30 pm.

St. John Episcopal Church hosts Fifth Sunday meal at noon each month.
