Provides home care services to individuals with a serious illness, regardless of age or stage of disease. Supportive care is provided in-home by a nurse, who works with other healthcare providers. Services can be provided along with healing treatments including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social services, and home health aides.

Supports minor to moderate owner-occupied home repairs for seniors, veterans, and persons with disabilities. All home repairs are eligible; budget per home is up to $40,000. Repairs are provided at no cost to the homeowner, with no liens recorded or ongoing financial requirements.

Provides engineering and design of County roadway projects, including local resurfacing and bridge replacement. The division is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the County Secondary Road System, including ditch cleaning, roadway surface repairs, bridge and culvert repairs, and snow removal.

Offers one-on-one peer support to assist individuals who are struggling with addiction. Services are designed to provide essential support and resources. Also assists individuals get set up with a medical-assisted treatment/intensive outpatient program, AA/NA meetings, counseling services, therapeutic resources, and more.

Offers supported employment opportunities to individuals who have both the desire to work in an integrated work setting and employment abilities for this setting. The two main goals of these services are to give the individuals the opportunity to earn competitive wages and allow these wages to be earned in an integrated work setting.

Provides vocational training for persons who require a higher level of care than is available through other Hope Haven programs. Individuals receiving services must have a primary diagnosis of a mental disability and must be certified by the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care to be in need of this level of service.

Certified Application Counselors help clients find healthcare coverage that fits their needs.

Limited emergency financial assistance for residents facing eviction from their apartment or house lease.

Care team members provide one-on-one support, including personalized help in the areas of finance, housing, parenting, and more. Offers a long-term program that offers individualized budgeting care and a finances course.

Offers career counseling, job training, educational support, employment assistance, and support services (for childcare, transportation, etc.) to youth facing challenges.

Provides parks, golf courses, Phillips Park Zoo, pavilion rentals, etc.

Offers testing of private wells, well and septic system inspection, radon testing and correction advice. Also provides swimming pool, spa, tanning bed, and tattoo parlor inspections. Complaints: Receives and investigates complaints dumping and other garbage issues, illegal burning, and animal bites. When possible, works with tenant complaints regarding rental home conditions.

Provides substance abuse services include assessments, brief early intervention, chemical dependency treatment including opioids, residential placement referral, and OWI evaluations. Offers Prevention and Awareness services to middle and high school students.

Offers access to experienced health specialists who provide information about approved HIV treatment options, assist in locating HIV/AIDS clinical trials across the USA, and offer counseling services for individuals at risk of contracting or transmitting HIV. Counseling includes personal risk assessments, development of personalized action plans, and support for behavior changes to reduce the risk of acquiring or transmitting HIV.
