Offers individuals with a serious mental illness the opportunity to work in a supportive and therapeutic environment. Clients will be given an opportunity to learn vocational skills, earn money, improve self-esteem, learn to work with others in a cooperative effort, and improve chances for future competitive employment. Individuals learn office skills, light industrial skills such as assembling, packaging, and housekeeping.

Offers residential treatment programs for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Those programs serve men and women, women with children, young adults, veterans, and essential and frontline workers. Also offers medically monitored detox and withdrawal management.

Sober living recovery homes and halfway houses provide wraparound support for individuals in early recovery. Also offers supportive housing for individuals living with mental health disorders.

Adult outpatient services include therapy, specialty care such as TMS therapy and MAT, family support and education, psychiatric care, intensive community-based case management, and fulfillment of legal behavioral healthcare requirements related to court systems.

Crisis team (Engagement Specialist and Crisis Counselor) providing mobile crisis response.

Works with pregnant woman, or families with a high risk infant, or a foster child under 6, to obtain health care services or other necessary services needed to have a healthy pregnancy and to promote the infant or child’s healthy development. Services include health counseling, evaluation of medical and social needs, referrals to needed services or supports, high risk infant follow-up for those in need and DCFS medical case management.

Provides private duty nursing or other healthcare support clinicians when requested by the client.

Woman and infant health care services to assist with a healthy pregnancy and to promote the infant's healthy development.

Provides information and trainings to teach groups, schools, and communities about epilepsy and seizure response. Trainings are offered in-person or virtually.

Resells clothing, toys, and household items to the general public.

Offers Basic Skills/GED® classes, English as a Second Language instruction, and programs that prepare individuals for U.S. citizenship by fostering an understanding of American culture, history, government, and civic responsibilities. Volunteer opportunities are also available.

Provides nutritious lunches in a friendly, inclusive environment. Each meal includes a balanced combination of protein, vegetables, fruit, grain, and milk.

Menus are carefully designed and approved by a registered dietitian to ensure they meet 1/3 of the daily recommended intake of essential nutrients.

Some locations offer hot meal pick-up and/or delivery.  (Varies by location; see description of hours for details.)

Offers Child Care Expense Assistance through the Iowa Department of Human services is available to the children of income-eligible parents who are absent for a portion of the day due to employment or participation in academic or vocational training or PROMISE JOBS activities.
