VNA Health Center - Aurora - East Aurora High School
Offers home health care and hospice services. Care may include:
- Regular visits to patient's home to provide care.
- Coordinate services needed from other healthcare providers, including doctors, therapists, social workers and nurse aides.
- Keeps family and primary care physician informed about progress and care plan.
VNA will also answer questions about hospice care or end-of-life questions, even if a patient is not ready for hospice care at this time. Topics include:
- Advance directives.
- End-of-life issues.
- Making plans to provide care for a loved one with a terminal illness.
- Grief and loss issues.
- Understanding palliative care vs. curative treatment.

Assistance with goal setting to create stability; assistance with budgeting needs.
DHS Family Community Resource Center - Marion County
Provides free or low-cost health coverage to people with low incomes, families and children, pregnant women, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
DHS administers the applications for Medicaid through ABE (Application for Benefits Eligibility), which is the part of the DHS website where Illinois residents can apply for Medicaid, SNAP, and cash benefits.

The Iowa Cafe program is an innovative approach to enhance older adults' access to both socialization and nutrition. Rather than visiting traditional senior centers, seniors enjoy meals at locally owned, licensed food establishments and businesses. This provides more flexibility for seniors to meet their nutritional needs while connecting with and supporting their communities.
Iowa Cafe meals meet the same nutritional requirements for older adults as meals in traditional senior centers. In addition to meals, the Iowa Cafe offers nutrition education and fall prevention workshops in these local communities. Participating Restaurants/Cafes:

McLean County Museum of History
Nationally accredited museum with five permanent exhibit galleries and two rotating galleries. The museum is dedicated to telling the story of McLean County through programs which serve people of all ages. Features seven exhibit galleries, preserves more than 18,000 objects, makes available more than 15,00 rare and hard-to-find books on local history and genealogy, and manages 2,000 feet of historical papers and images in its archives.

Offers educational and recreational programs, health screenings, and a hot noon meal. The following types of services are available at the Senior Center, blood pressure checks, rules of the road, hearing clinics, annual senior expo, crafts, cards and bingo, parties, exercise, informational sessions (from investing to cooking to shopping wisely), Wii bowling tournaments, pool tournaments.
The Center is also available to be rented out during off hours for family reunions, showers, etc.

Nebraska Medicaid Eligibility Customer Service
Medicaid provides payment for the medical care of low-income Nebraskans. Types of medical services include hospital, nursing home, physicians, dental, clinic, home health, family planning, lab and radiology, and prescribed drugs. Medicaid may also cover home and community based services for high risk individuals who are aged, disabled, or mentally disabled.
Effective October 1, 2020, Heritage Health Adult will cover Nebraska residents, age 19 through 64, whose income is at or below 138 percent of the federal poverty level. Applications are currently being accepted.
