Offers a supplemental food and nutritional counseling service. All participants receive nutrition education and counseling, supplemental foods, and information about other health services based on assessment. A breastfeeding peer counselor is available to clients who need breastfeeding support.

Offers "Norman Services" to support families with children at risk of being placed in DCFS care or unable to return home due to unmet basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing, or other essential items. LIHEAP (low income home energy assistance program) provides assistance with a utility bill. Applications are accepted November 1 – August 15; for elderly or disabled individuals applications are accepted starting October 1. Income must fall within 200% of poverty guideline. Call for an appointment. A letter has been sent to those who may be eligible for early application in August or September.

Some applicants may qualify for the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP), where an eligible client pays a percentage of their income, receives a monthly benefit towards their utility bill, and receives a reduction in overdue payments for every on-time payment they make by the bill due date. If the homeowner's furnace is not working or is dangerous or emitting carbon monoxide into the household, LIHEAP may be able to provide a furnace repair or replacement. Contact for more information.

Volunteer drivers provide rides to cancer patients. It can take several days to coordinate your ride, so please call well in advance.  Clients must be able to walk unassisted; walkers and canes qualify for walking unassisted.

Empowers Nebraskans statewide aged 60+ in overcoming hardships caused by abuse, neglect, and/or financial exploitation. The program offers strengths-based, trauma-informed, person-centered services and referrals using a statewide circle of support that allows seniors to remain independent.
