- Dog Bite Prevention Education: visits schools and other groups to teach children the basics of animal behavior and how to avoid getting bitten by dogs and cats.
- Continuing Care: provides shelter and care for pets if their owners become unavailable to care for them.
- Arm Chair Adoptions: Individuals who are unable to care for a pet in their home can "adopt" a pet that lives at the animal shelter, and the individual receives letters and photos of their pet.

Iowa Department for the Blind
Provides books and magazines in Braille, large type, digital cartridge, downloadable audio, and E-Text. Also provides descriptive videos, and playback machines for use with digital cartridges.
Kearney Jubilee Center
Food Pantry is available to anyone requesting help with food supplies. A household can visit the pantry once a month, and food will be provided based on the number of people in the household for 3 to 5 days of food supplies.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach - Scott County
Offers a program for parents and youth individuals ages 10-14 to work together and build relationships. Participants will practice skills, play learning games, and do family projects in highly interactive sessions. Sessions are designed to increase family bonding, build positive communication skills, and solve problems together.
CASA of Scotts Bluff County
Recruits, screens, trains, and supports volunteers (Court Appointed Special Advocates) who are appointed by a juvenile court judge to advocate for a child, who is under the jurisdiction of the court due to abuse or neglect.
CASAs maintain contact with the children during the entire court jurisdiction period. Work with attorneys, therapists, parents, foster parents, and all adults involved with the child; and get to know the child's needs and makes reports to the court, so a more informed decision can be made.
