Offers free customized one-on-one instruction training for children who have been diagnosed as dyslexic. Services may also include training for teachers or others with a bachelor's degree who wish to tutor children with dyslexia. 

Provides GED classes for students with reading levels at 4th grade and above. Each student will also be offered case management to help them succeed and overcome any barriers that may stop them from furthering their education. This program also provides free scholarships for students who are ready to take a GED test or a practice GED test and cannot afford the fees.

Advises and aids veterans and their dependents in applying for federal benefits through compensation or pension claims. Can also assists with applications for benefits made available by federal, state or local laws, including burial benefits.

Provides a culturally safe, informed community where foreign-born military spouses can come as themselves. Provides local chapters, peer-led support groups, cultural exchange events, and newcomer integration support. The Belonging Project is designed to reduce isolation, create friendships, and help spouses understand U.S. and military life while retaining their cultural identity.

Offers to help children in grades 4-12 develop knowledge and skills. Services include learning about citizenship, leadership, cooking, arts and crafts, mechanics and technology, horticulture, agriculture, and other subjects. To teach young people about these subjects, the 4-H program uses the learn-by-doing method of instruction.

Crisis services include short-term stabilization where a child is at risk of self-harm, or harming others, individual and family psychotherapy/counseling, mental health assessment, case management and resource linkage assistance, and psychiatric services.

Provides the communication center for the Iowa State Patrol.
