Provides animal adoption, rabies tag registration of all dogs and cats, consultations on animal bites, low cost spay or neuter services, adoption of stray cats and dogs in shelter, microchipping, vaccinations, information regarding lost pets. Adoption counselors may be available to assist with adoptions, answer questions about the adoption application, schedule an animal visit, purchase rabies tags, and to make a payment for donation.

Holy Family Food Pantry
Provides a drive-through food pantry that is open weekly to those in need. Clients are allowed to use the pantry once a month.
Supporting People in Need (SPIN)
Assists with loss due to fires, tornadoes, earthquakes, homelessness, and other disasters, both natural and personal, that are beyond one's control. Helps to bridge the gap between the disaster and the government's help (such as FEMA, Red Cross, etc.). Representatives of the agency attend churches, senior centers, and other venues to educate the public about the different types of natural disasters that can occur in the region and how to prepare for these disasters.

LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) provides supplemental help for the winter heating bills November 1-April 30. Those over 60 or disabled may apply for the season starting in October.
LIHEAP Crisis Assistance, when funding is available, may help with disconnect notices, furnace repair or furnace replacement for homeowners. Crisis assistance is dependent upon funding availability and may be available between April-October.
May have some crisis funding available outside the normal LIHEAP months with local funding, call local County Outreach Office for availability of funding.
Sunshine Foundation
Answers the dreams and wishes of children, ages three through eighteen, who have severe or profound physical/developmental/intellectual challenges or trauma from physical/sexual abuse, and whose families have limited income.

PFLAG South Central Nebraska
Support group that meets monthly for members of the community, LGBTQ+ persons/youth, families, allies/advocates, and others interested in attending to learn and support. Every meeting has a support focus, and some meetings have an educational topic, speaker, or presentation.
Also provides other opportunities for meeting more informally throughout the month, including coffee hours and family-friendly activities, games, and fun, for youth, families, and older adults.
SAL Child Care Resource and Referral of Midwestern Illinois
Trains home child care providers to help ensure the highest quality of care is provided by offering free training and courtesy home visits with activities and crafts for the children, CPR/First Aid certification, and professional development opportunities.
Training for child care providers is offered both through SAL Child Care Resource and Referral programs for all licensed and license-exempt centers and homes in the 16-county IL area from the Quad Cities to central Illinois, and through SAL Home Child Care Network Moline, Galesburg, and Peoria offices for licensed home providers who are part of the Network.

In addition, the college delivers workforce training, continuing education and short-term credential programs aligned with regional industry needs, helping students quickly gain in-demand skills and enter or advance in the workforce.
