McHenry County Department of Health - Crystal Lake
Provides child vaccines. All scheduled childhood vaccines are available. Immunization for infants and children (6 weeks to 18 years of age) for uninsured, underinsured, and Medicaid/All Kid's recipients. 8 clinics per month, 6 total sites located throughout McHenry County
Adult Vaccines, all recommended vaccines for adults (19 years of age and older) for both uninsured and underinsured. 2 walk-in clinics per month. Travel vaccines are not offered.
East Central District Health Department
WIC (Women, Infants, Children) supplemental nutrition program which provides vouchers for nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to other resources and programs.
Clinic sites also available in Columbus, Schuyler, and St. Edward.
- Columbus location: East Central District Health Dept., 4321 41st Avenue.
- Schuyler location: 316 East 11th Street.
- St. Edward location: St. Edward Christian Community Church, 501 Beaver Street.
Sparc Work Center
Helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by enabling them to successfully live, learn, work, and socialize in the community. Its programs are attuned to the unique potential of each individual and designed to build self-confidence and independence. Support services are provided through one or more of the following programs:
- 24-hour residential support.
- Developmental training.
- Supported living.
- Supported employment.
- Competitive employment.
- Janitorial training.
Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership - Loup City
Offers one time financial assistance to individuals and families experiencing a crisis that has caused a homeless or near homeless situation. Stability assistance can be used for past due rent, past due utilities, or propane (depending on county). Assistance is available sporadically and only when funding is available.

Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs - Springfield Veterans Home
Offers veterans and experts on federal, state, and local veteran resources. Services include assisting veterans to apply for federal and state benefits as well as provide resources related to compensation, pension, health care, education, employment, burial and survivor, housing, permits, transportation, and military records.
Scott Community College
Community colleges include Scott, Clinton, and Muscatine Community Colleges. Offers certificate, diploma, and degree programs and provide continuing education opportunities in many areas.
Non-traditional Careers for Women and Minorities program encourages women to follow higher-paying, non-traditional careers. Short-term, pre-vocational training is available.

Hadley Institute for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Provides both practical and social/emotional help to older adults adjusting to vision loss.
Content (online, large print, braille and audio) is available free of charge to anyone with a visual impairment and to those who support them.
Library of learning content ranges from tips and techniques for everyday living with low vision to an extensive range of instruction on assistive technology and braille.
Rosecrance - Harrison Campus
97-bed adult substance use disorder treatment center designed to provide a therapeutic environment conducive to recovery. Includes open living and recreational space, outdoor dining, a chapel, a health center, and more.
Provides adults with individualized addiction treatment where each client is cared for by a team of specialists who address substance use and mental health disorders.
Resources include:
- Integrated therapeutic recreation and art therapy;
- Health and wellness programming;
- On-site psychiatry;
- Proximity to adult recovery home, allowing for easy transition of services, and more.
Delivers medically monitored detox care. Care for withdrawal management will be based on individual needs on a 24-hour basis.
