The application period is from October 1-April 30 for elderly and disabled households and November 1-April 30th for the rest of the households. Persons applying must meet 200% poverty guidelines. LIHEAP also offers a crisis program that may be able to assist homeowners who are with no heat or limited heat. The furnace component for crisis runs October 1-April 30th. May be able to help with repairs on a furnace but cannot replace the furnace. Keep checking back on the furnace program as it is dependent on funding that changes frequently.
