Offers workshops that teach individuals and families how to get more out of money and how to save money for financial goals. This is a series of workshops that are a blend of instruction and hands on activities so each concept can be mastered. 

Offers the Warm Neighbors program which is a matching fund program to help with utility bills for customers of Ameren only.

Assists individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities in accessing needed services and supports. Coordinators provide information, referral, assess individuals for needs, develop a treatment plan, and coordinate funding as needed.

Provides temporary homes for children of families in crisis. Services allow parents an opportunity to resolve a temporary crisis while reducing risk of abuse, neglect, and isolation for children. Connects families with a family friend, who offers a healthy relational support as the family navigates the situation. Also connects the family with a family coach, who can provide linkage to services in the community and set goals to reach a place of stability. 

Protects the citizens of Marion County from contracting and transmitting infectious disease. Receives reports of communicable diseases from physicians, laboratories, health care practitioners, schools, and daycare personnel as the disease occurs.

Provides structured therapy groups or other interventions which help recovering drug and/or excessive alcohol users make the cognitive, behavioral and attitudinal changes that are necessary to prevent them from returning to their previous patterns of use. 

The program helps participants deal in a very focused way with a wide variety of issues that have an impact on their commitment to sobriety and may include topics like exercise, nutrition, boredom, addictive behavior, looking forward, work and recovery, guilt and shame, the role of 12-step programs, staying busy, truthfulness, trust, repairing relationships, anger management, money management and dealing with feelings.

Offers a food pantry for individuals in need. 

Provides services and programs for older adults. Services include: -- Noon meals and Home-delivered meals -- Toenail clinics -- Fitness Center and classes -- Hair Salon -- Information and assistance -- Activities and social gatherings

Full service public lending library, reference, children's, videos, music cassettes/CDs, books on tape and CD, DVDs, online databases, and e-books. Internet access and wi-fi available. Computer labs. Meeting rooms and study rooms are available at some locations.

Provides the following free services: tutoring, help with homework, sports, art, support groups, outdoor recreation, garden/farm curriculum, mentoring, field trips and nutritious meals to low-income children.

Sports leagues and activities, aquatics facilities and lessons, wellness and fitness classes, and youth and family activities. Nursery care available.

City government departments and other city information.

Offers to serve business needs of the community, informational, geographic, demographic, and area information for new residents.

State Supplement adds to the benefits of the federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Program to bring the income of aged and disabled individuals up to the need of standards of Nebraska. Additionally, some persons are not eligible for SSI payments, but qualify for a State Supplement payment because of different standards and regulations.

State Disability provides aid to needy persons who have a disability expected to last for at least six months, but less than the 12 months required to be eligible for the federal Supplemental Security Income Program.

Free community meal served once a month. Diapers also available once a month.

Offers educational and recreational programs. Programs and activities include athletics, summer camps, bicycling club, youth programs, special events and recreational services. Also provides a snack and time to do homework. 

Provides counseling and other adult, and child and adolescent outpatient mental health programs, first responder suicide prevention, substance use treatment, mobile crisis response and offers Naloxone.

Also helps to coordinate services with other community care providers. 

Offers food pantry, providing items such as canned food and boxed food.

Offers mental health, medical, dental, developmental, and educational services to children in foster home placement, specific to each child’s needs.

Also offers therapy, training, and peer support for parents and caregivers.
