Works with children with moderate to severe cognitive impairments by engaging them in on-going community activities to generalize classroom skills in real world situation.

Provides a variety of services for children and families in order to support and facilitate recovery for mental illness, trauma, disruptive behavior disorders, family relationship problems, and school issues. Services include individual therapy, family therapy, parenting education and skill building, group therapy, consultation to schools and other agencies and psychiatric services.

Through these programs the agency approves contracts to provide financial assistance to help plan and implement conservation practices that address natural resource concerns or opportunities to help save energy, improve soil, water, plant, air, animal and related resources on agricultural lands and non-industrial private forest land, with emphasis on market stability and commodity pricing.

Medicaid will pay the costs of Health care, Dental care, In-home health care, Nursing facility care or Residential facility care.

Designed to help individuals explore their own use of substances and better understand the impact of those substances on their behaviors and driving skills.

Provides outpatient substance abuse treatment counseling, substance abuse evaluation services, and group therapy. Also provides Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

Offers law enforcement services to the Butler County area. Issues gun/firearm permits, runs requested background checks, and manages the county Jail.

All DHS offices across the state are open for people to use as a warm/cool place to stay during office hours.

Clothing closet.

Offers free breast exams, mammograms, pap tests and pelvic exams for eligible women. Treatment options are available if screening results in diagnosis. Women who have already been diagnosed with cancer may receive treatment if they qualify.
