Research analysts collect and disseminate information about wages, labor availability, industrial and occupational projections, business staffing patterns and labor force demographics, among other topics.

Popular publications include H3 (High Wage, High Skill, High Demand) job rankings, monthly labor force and nonfarm employment data, and occupational and industry wages and employment projections.

Maintains official real estate documents, contracts, articles of incorporation, partnerships, state tax liens, military records, birth, divorce and death records/certificates. Offers marriage, hunting, fishing, ATV, Boat and Snowmobile licenses/renewals and a Passport acceptance facility and photo service. Military Records for tax exemptions and benefits also available.

Transitional housing available to individuals who are LGBTQ+ and experiencing homelessness. Provides up to 24 months of housing with case management and referral services.

Home delivery of materials for those with a physical impairment which prohibits them from visiting the library. The library will mail the items with a receipt showing the date by which the items should be returned and a return mailing label will be enclosed.

Provides a school for students with developmental disabilities due to physical and intellectual disabilities. The students are instructed by certified special education teachers and assisted by paraprofessionals. Also offers a variety of therapies such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, music therapy and more.

Emergency operations center for the County, which handles emergency response incidents, including accidents, fires, floods, storms and other disasters. Also responsible for requesting federal assistance after a disaster.

WIC central intake for Northeast Nebraska.

Advises and aids veterans and their dependents in applying for federal benefits through compensation or pension claims. Can also assists with applications for benefits made available by federal, state or local laws, including burial benefits.

Provides a customized one-on-one training program to assist individuals in increasing their employment opportunities. Program length varies upon students' needs. Offered topics include typing, computer skills (Microsoft Word or Excel), customer service skills, resume writing and cover letters, assistance with job search, help filling out applications properly, and employment counseling.

Counseling and mental health services including individual, couples, and family counseling and anger management groups.
