Offers police and dispatch services for emergency assessments and responses.

Offers a state-wide program for students with disabilities at each school in Champaign County. Services include employers, teachers, parents, and vocational coordinators work as a team to help students become productive members of society. Students receive training in employability skills that increases job retention.

Offers a safe space for individuals experiencing emotional stress or overwhelming symptoms due to live circumstances.

Service may include, emotional support groups, assistance in applying for Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, housing applications, and Social Security and a safe place to enjoy a snack, watch TV, make art, or play a game.

Offers a private four year University. Drake offers more than 70 undergraduate degrees and a wide variety of advanced degrees including a law degree. Offers both day and evening programs as well as non-credit courses and training for business. The Adult Literacy Center is now based at DMACC.

Provides medication set-up, health assessments, blood draws for lab tests, blood pressure screenings, fall prevention programs and foot care.

Offers daily hot meals for older adults. Meal delivery available for individuals who are homebound.

All locations offer a wellness floor with cardio and weight equipment and wellness staff to assist. Most locations offer a range of group-exercise classes (high intensity, challenging, low impact, chair-assisted, fall prevention), active older adult and youth programs, open swim and lap times, swim lessons (including adaptive and adult), open gymnasium hours, pickleball, child watch, youth sports, and summer day camp.

- The Buena Vista YMCA Express is a co-op project in conjunction with Omaha Public Schools, located on the Buena Vista High School campus. It includes a unique wellness floor featuring eGYM and MX4 equipment. This location is a wellness-only 14+ facility.

- The Westview YMCA offers youth sports and sports camps, a splash pad, and it is attached to Omaha Public School’s Westview High School. Visit other locations to learn more about summer day camp opportunities.

- The YMCA Healthy Living Center is an adult-only location designed for individuals 30+, with a therapeutic warm-water pool and a wider variety of low impact classes and equipment as well as social clubs and activities geared toward active older adults.

- The Charles E. Lakin YMCA offers eSports.

- The Butler-Gast YMCA and Downtown YMCA locations accept registrations for youth sports and host practices and games in collaboration with the Maple Street YMCA.

- The Gretna Crossing YMCA has eGYM equipment and a splash pad. It is part of the Gretna Crossing Park that offers trails, disc golf course, and a water park.

- The Blair Family YMCA offers a fitness center, pool, and many activities for youth and adults regardless of ability to pay.

Maintains and provides access to official real estate documents, contracts, articles of incorporation, partnerships, state and federal tax liens, military records, birth, divorce, death, and marriage records. Offers services for issuing and renewing licenses for ATVs, boats, snowmobiles, hunting, and fishing, as well as marriage licenses and certificates. Operates as a Passport acceptance facility with photo services and processes military records for tax exemptions and benefits.

Additionally, issues public health permits to certify compliance with health laws for various facilities and institutions. Services include the establishment of standards, review of applications, issuance of permits, and enforcement of compliance through inspections and monitoring.

Provides classes and counseling services related to pregnancy, birth, childcare, and parenting to teach new skills, build confidence, and address emotional, mental, or social challenges associated with parenting roles. 

Support group led by a certified breastfeeding consultant or certified lactation consultant. Provides education, answers, and reassurance to new mothers; babies welcome.

County level services provide direct emergency economic aid for vital necessities to veterans, their widow, and dependents, according to their needs. Personal visits for assistance and claims to housebound veterans or dependents. Must have an honorable or under honorable conditions discharge from active duty or wartime service. Must be a resident in Nebraska for the past one year and 6 months of that year in Rock County.

State level services do not require wartime service. Assist in completing applications for the Nebraska Veterans Aid Fund; fee exempt fishing and hunting permits; applications to the Nebraska Veterans Homes; waivers of tuition.

Federal level services provide and/or complete Veteran Administration forms for claims relating but not limited to service connected compensation, disability pension, widow's pension, burial allowance, grave markers/headstones, educational benefits, home loans, insurance, indebtedness, and character of service upgrades.

Federally-funded early childhood development program to increase school readiness of young children in low-income families.

Implements annual fundraising campaigns within the service area. Works with 40-plus community partners to help those most in need. Campaigns within Wapello County service area invested programs that advance education, income and health.

Offers public housing for families and/or disabled individuals.

Provides Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers.

Both programs are based on the participants' gross household income.

Works with income-eligible homeowners to make their homes safer and more energy efficient by eliminating heat loss and air infiltration areas in the home. After the initial assessment, recommendations on home improvements are given to the homeowner and the Weatherization team will coordinate repairs with contractors. Examples of common improvements include sealing cracks, insulating attics, or repairing windows and doors. All improvements are completed at no cost to the homeowner.

Additional priority is given to households with elderly, disabled, and young children.
