Danville Area Community College - Main Campus
Provides basic instruction in listening, speaking, reading, and writing English for non-English speakers as a first language. Course content covers structure, pronunciation, vocabulary development, reading, and writing skills. Objective of the course is to develop an understanding of the language with a significant portion of class time devoted to hearing and discussion exercises. An oral assessment and/or standardized placement test will determine placement. Books are provided to students at no cost.

Brightpoint - Bloomington Office
Provides doula services to expectant parents. Services include outreach services and in-home coaching to help them learn about pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Doulas also screen parents for maternal depression, domestic violence, parental stress, and act as a liaison with the hospital staff when necessary during the labor process.
The family remains in the program until the child is 6-8 weeks old and then is referred to long-term home visiting services. The Doula Program also offers an 8-week Parents Care & Share Prenatal Group that connects parents to other parents and covers topics such as prenatal care, stress, nutrition, labor and delivery.
Maquoketa Office
Offers outpatient treatment services for substance use. Services are self-paced, and length of time is based on individual need. Group meetings are available. Individual and family counseling sessions are provided as needed.

Ogle County Housing Authority
Properties are located in Oregon, Polo, and Forreston. Rent is based on 30% of the applicants income with a minimum rent of $50 per month. There are also established ceiling rents, so depending on the size of the apartment, the rent will not go over a certain amount.
-- Housing Choice Voucher Program: For this program, participants seek housing in the private rental market. Tenants pay 30% of the rent which is based on their income and the housing authority pays the balance due to the landlord. There is currently an open waiting list for Section 8 vouchers.
Lutheran Social Services of Illinois - Nachusa Lutheran Home
Provides intensive intact family case management services for which DCFS has identified that abuse and neglect has occurred within the family, but safety measures can be in place to keep the children in the care of the family.
