Provides mental health and substance abuse counseling services to veterans. Services include treatment for addictions, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and OCD.

Provides an inexpensive membership program that helps people live and age will through a variety of educational programs and events that promote vital balance of physical, financial, emotional and spiritual components in life.  The  program offers educational events, some are in person, and some are on demand via the website, there are planned trips throughout the year, social events and holiday gatherings to meet people, fitness and cafeteria discounts.

Emergency operations center for the County, which handles emergency response incidents, including accidents, fires, floods, storms and other disasters. Also responsible for requesting federal assistance after a disaster.

Provides home maintenance and minor home repairs for homeowners.

Typical repairs include (but not limited to) minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, small painting projects and touch-ups, lawn care (mowing, yard work), gutter cleaning, and window and screen repairs.

Technicians are typically retired workers who have learned home repair from years of personal experience.

Direct/Deferred Payment Loan provides assistance for low and moderate-income homeowners located in low/moderate income areas. Provides direct loans at 0% interest with moderate monthly payments. If unable to get a direct loan, deferred payment loans are available at 0% interest with monthly payments deferred for two years.

Emergency Repair Loan is a 0% interest deferred payment loan, with no payments as long as the borrower keeps ownership of and lives on the property, for emergency repairs (replacement of furnaces, water heaters, dangerous wiring, etc.) to very low income home-owners citywide. Income cannot exceed 50% of Lincoln median income.

First Home Program provides assistance for low and moderate income first-time home buyers citywide who have not owned a home for 3 years. Some exceptions may apply. Must complete Home buyer Training offered by NeighborWorks Lincoln. Deferred loan assistance is available for gap financing and housing rehabilitation. Annual income cannot exceed 80% of Lincoln median income.

Provides a 24-hour crisis response and intervention program for youth ages 11-17. The CCBYS team talks with youth and their families to understand the challenges at home. They work quickly to make sure everyone is safe and then make a plan to support the whole family. CCBYS can help with youth in crisis, youth at risk of involvement with DCFS, and youth at risk of involvement in the juvenile justice system. Call for youth who are locked out and their parents will not allow them to return, a youth beyond the control of their parents and in immediate physical danger, a run-away, or a homeless youth without their parents. 

Hospice care.

Offers children to participate in various activities and staged play to explore with a balance of language, sensory, fine and gross motor, art, math, music, cognitive and social-emotional concepts. 

Voucher meals are a supplementary meal offering in select locations in the service area at local restaurants, to help provide meals on weekends or during irregular schedules, and promotes small business. Participants will be able to use a voucher ticket to get an entree, fruit, vegetable, and bread.

Provides job-seeking and placement assistance for clients.

Provides guidance and inspections in the areas of food, private septic, and private well water safety to prevent disease and protect the community. Issues food, private sewage disposal, and well water permits. Approves plans for new sewage disposal installations, inspects and approves well installations, and reviews plans for proposed food establishments. Investigates foodborne or waterborne illness complaints, sewage complaints, and collects well water samples. Conducts health and safety inspections for public and semi-public swimming pools and spas and responds to complaints regarding stagnant or unsecured private pools. Additionally, offers radon detection services through onsite testing or the provision of test kits for homes and other buildings.
