23-hour Crisis Observation services support individuals in a secure and protected setting, medically staffed, and a psychiatrically supervised treatment environment to stabilize the situation and better assess any additional levels of care.

24-Hour Crisis Hotline provides support on the phone for people looking for immediate help with an emotional or mental health crisis.

Crisis Evaluation and Stabilization provides short-term care for individuals with mental health and developmental disabilities who need 24-hour supervision for safety during a crisis, without the added trauma of hospitalization. Stabilization includes a crisis evaluation.

Mobile Crisis Response and Outreach services provide on-site, face-to-face mental health services for an individual or family experiencing a mental health crisis. Offers parental training and enrichment program that offers education and family support services. The primary goal is to strengthen parent-child relationships, reinforce parenting skills, and promote child growth and development so that all children develop a strong foundation for learning.

Engages clients in structured activities centered on personal choice, individualized care, and goal setting. The program offers social interaction and community engagement. Typical activities range from day trips and volunteering with local organizations to working on personal goals like self-advocacy, health monitoring, and adaptive skills.

Provides an advocacy group for persons with mental health concerns and has support groups statewide. It strives to raise public awareness and concern about mental illness, to foster research, to improve treatment and to upgrade the care delivery system. AProvides assistance to veterans and their dependents in applying for federal benefits, including compensation or pension claims, and benefits available through federal, state, or local laws. Offers emergency financial assistance for basic necessities. Additionally, supports eligible veterans and their families in accessing burial benefits, such as burial in a national cemetery, headstones and markers, memorial certificates, burial flags, and funeral allowances, as provided by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.

County level services provide direct emergency economic aid for vital necessities to veterans, their widow, and dependents, according to their needs. Personal visits for assistance and claims to housebound veterans or dependents. Must have an honorable or under honorable conditions discharge from active duty or wartime service. Must be a resident in Nebraska for the past one year.

State level services do not require wartime service. Assist in completing applications for the Nebraska Veterans Aid Fund; fee exempt fishing and hunting permits; applications to the Nebraska Veterans Homes; waivers of tuition.

Federal level services provide and/or complete Veteran Administration forms for claims relating but not limited to service connected compensation, disability pension, widow's pension, burial allowance, grave markers/headstones, educational benefits, home loans, insurance, indebtedness, and character of service upgrades.

Offers traditional counseling and Christian counseling services for individuals, couples, and families. Also offers substance use assessments, and DUI evaluation.

State Supplement adds to the benefits of the federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Program to bring the income of aged and disabled individuals up to the need of standards of Nebraska. Additionally, some persons are not eligible for SSI payments, but qualify for a State Supplement payment because of different standards and regulations.

State Disability provides aid to needy persons who have a disability expected to last for at least six months, but less than the 12 months required to be eligible for the federal Supplemental Security Income Program.
