Offers community Meals, that are served daily to anyone needing a hot meal. The meal locations and times are as follows: La Iglesia Apostolica Church, 2561 Onawa Street, DSM 50317, 4:30 pm-6:30 pm. New Directions Shelter, 3001 Grand Avenue, DSM 50312, 4:30 pm-6:30 pm.

Provides comprehensive classroom and home-based services to pregnant women and children birth to age five, including children with significant special needs.

CEFS Outreach offices do not serve the program; the program provides services from their own classroom/office locations. (See the notes in Coverage Area for more details.)

Out of home placement option for children and adolescents whose special needs hinder their success in a traditional foster care placement.

Offers 30 hours of training, in-service training, professional consultation, 24 hour on call support services, respite services for foster parents, and performance evaluations.

Foster parents are reimbursed for the child's basic needs, with an additional stipend for providing treatment.

Offers programs designed to prepare youth to make healthy choices through prevention, education, and enrichment activities. These services aim to provide early awareness, intervention, and out-of-classroom support to equip children and adolescents with the tools they need to stay on a positive path. Programs address a variety of critical issues, including:

- Substance Use Prevention

- Smoking and/or Vaping Cessation

- Alcohol Use Disorder Education/Prevention

- Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention

- Suicide Prevention

- Youth Violence Prevention

- Juvenile Delinquency Prevention

- Human Trafficking Prevention

- Child Abuse Prevention

Additionally, youth enrichment programs are offered to promote healthy social interaction and help participants maximize their social, emotional, physical, and academic potential. These programs may include arts and crafts, academic workshops, sports, reading clubs, and other recreational, cultural, and civic activities.

Offers to help children in grades 4-12 develop knowledge and skills. Services include learning about citizenship, leadership, cooking, arts and crafts, mechanics and technology, horticulture, agriculture, and other subjects. To teach young people about these subjects, the 4-H program uses the learn-by-doing method of instruction.
