North Central Behavioral Health Systems - Morris Office
Provides substance use treatment services to those working through an addiction. Services include an Intensive Outpatient Program which consists of group counseling for individuals who abuse or are dependent on alcohol or drugs, as well as individuals who have both substance abuse and mental health issues. These groups are segregated by age.
Also provides Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) which is an evidence-based treatment method using FDA-approved medications alongside behavioral therapies for clients struggling with addiction.

Participants will be able to use a voucher ticket to get an entree, fruit, vegetable, and bread.
Lutheran Services in Iowa - Ames
Offers visits in the homes of eligible parents during pregnancy and early infancy to help improve their personal health and development during the prenatal period and learn to care for the child following birth. The visits encourage good nutrition; and provide information regarding danger signs in pregnancy, preparation for labor and delivery, breastfeeding and other feeding options, baby supplies, basic infant care, newborn behaviors and child development. They help to ensure that infants and toddlers are nurtured, live in a safe environment in and around the home and receive proper health care.
Also provides structured opportunities for parents to engage in recreational activity or sport in cooperation with their infants or young children, or to participate in teaching their youngsters leisure-time skills.

Provides access to confidential trauma treatment, connecting clients with licensed mental health therapists to address conditions such as post-traumatic stress, moral injury, and thoughts of suicide.
Services are offered to active duty, veterans, and their loved ones regardless of a client’s ability to pay or military discharge status. Therapists are available both in person and via telehealth.
Offers virtual peer support groups for spouses and caregivers, along with wellness programming such as trauma-informed yoga and self-defense classes, primarily in Omaha and Lincoln.
Offers peer support services primarily with justice-involved veterans.
Quarterly financial literacy classes are offered virtually and in person.

Offers 10-week long internships for individuals with disabilities that provide vocational skills in a variety of hospital departments. At the completion of the internships, students are placed into competitive employment.
Three main categories of internships:
- Operations: stocking linens and supplies, dock, assembling and cleaning equipment, delivering linens/equipment, completing work orders, sanitizing, etc.
- Clerical: data entry, scanning, making and receiving phone calls, alphabetizing, minimal patient interaction, shredding, using copying machines, sorting mail, etc.
- Hospitality: food and beverage prep, customer service, cashiering, stocking food items, cleaning spills, catering, refilling creamer and coffee machines, catering, identifying specialty items, etc.

Dawson County Veteran Service Office
County level services provide direct emergency economic aid for vital necessities to veterans, their widow, and dependents, according to their needs. Personal visits for assistance and claims to housebound veterans or dependents. Must have an honorable or under honorable conditions discharge from active duty or wartime service. Must be a resident in Nebraska for the past one year and 6 months of that year in Dawson County.
State level services (do not require wartime service) assist in completing applications for the Nebraska Veterans Aid Fund. Fee exempt fishing and hunting permits. Applications to the Nebraska Veterans Homes. Waivers of tuition.
Federal level services provide and/or complete Veteran Administration forms for claims relating but not limited to service connected compensation, disability pension, widow's pension, burial allowance, grave markers/headstones, educational benefits, home loans, insurance, indebtedness, and character of service upgrades.

Non-residential level-4 outpatient substance abuse program which provides substance abuse counseling and relapse prevention program. Services are offered to individuals abusing substances or individuals who have been affected by someone else's use or abuse of alcohol or other drugs. The availability and accessibility of community-based services allows individuals to remain in their own environment while receiving services that meet their needs in the least restrictive environment.
