Carol's Closet also has a handicap accessible van and standing lift for loan with a donation.

Offers a variety of wellness classes and programs for the community aimed at improving physical health, mobility, and overall well-being. Services include:

- CPR Classes.

- Diabetes Education. 

 - Financial Wellness Workshops.

- First Aid Workshops. 

 - Healthy Living Class.

- Class for managing falls and increasing activity levels in older adults, with a focus on enhancing mobility and reducing risks associated with physical limitations.

- Class for preventing type 2 diabetes.

- Smoking Cessation Classes.

- Lung Cancer Screening Program.

- Safe Sitter Class.

Programs incorporate elements that promote physical activity and functional improvement, aligning with principles of physical therapy to support individuals in maintaining or restoring their ability to perform daily activities.

Offers emergency financial assistance once per year to anyone in need. Assistance may be given in the areas of rental assistance, disaster relief, gasoline, utility (water/sewage/trash only), and uniforms assistance.

Provides transportation services to multiple counties.

Riders are encouraged to schedule trips at least one working day in advance (same-day service is available if space permits), and riders must be ready for pick-up 15 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time. Cancellations must be made at least two hours prior to pick-up time.

Provides a discount program for families to receive 50–75% off recreational activities offered through Des Moines Parks and Recreation. Activities include swimming lessons, family swim passes, bike rentals, boat rentals, youth sports programs, shelters, garden plots and a variety of others.

Provides augmentative and alternative communication options through assistive technology, which enables children and youth with disabilities to participate more fully in all aspects of life. Offers social interaction, therapeutic activities and community engagement for clients.  Some of the activities are coffee, shopping, arts and crafts, cooking, health and wellness, visiting local attractions and volunteering.

Provides mental health support services to children and youth. Services include crisis intervention, short-term stabilization where a child is at risk of self-harm, or harming others, individual and family psychotherapy/counseling, mental health assessment, case management and resource linkage assistance, and psychiatric services.
