Provides police and dispatch services for the residents of Village of Hudson, responsible for emergency assessment and response, including coordination with correctional facilities for the detention, confinement, and management of individuals involved in criminal offenses.

Partners with local contractors to provide households with low-to-moderate incomes with services that can lower utility bills while also creating a safer, and more comfortable home in which to live. The weatherization process helps homes stay cooler in the summer and warmer during the winter.

Program also offers emergency furnace and air conditioning replacement.

Provides a day treatment substance use disorder services to youth ages 13-18. The program offers Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient levels of care for youth with a primary substance use diagnosis. In addition to group programming, each youth is assigned an individual counselor to meet with weekly.

2025 Information:

Offers Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day meals at Crossroads Mission Avenue. Meals start at 1 pm.

Administers the Sharing Program which can provide assistance with Nicor gas bills, when funds are available.

Provides families with information in Spanish and links them to services in Spanish. Services provided include outreach, advocacy, interpretation, translation services, case management, and information and referrals.

Provides temporary pet food assistance, to help a family keep their pet when they are struggling to make ends meet and are at risk of needing to give up the pet.

Food is available once per month.

Offers a collection of tools and supplies made available to community members and organizations to maintain and improve their homes, gardens and communities. Free membership required. Affordable tool rentals are available to anyone 18-years-old or older. We strive to be the most affordable option for quality tools. We have volunteer opportunities available.

For Christmas 2025:

Winter holiday celebration and activities, including gifts for children, free photos with Santa, face paintings, and more. Occurs annually in December.

Tickets will be available starting at the end of October until Nov 30, or until sold out. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased in advance only at Rising View’s leasing office (Offutt AFB).

Event is held Fri, December 5th, 2025, from 6 pm-8 pm, at the Offutt Event Center (formerly the Warhawk Community Center).

All children age 12 and under receive an age-appropriate gift.

This is not a public event. Event is open to enlisted Active Duty and enlisted Retired Service members and their families only. No entry without a ticket.
