Provides a maternity home (NOT A SHELTER) dedicated to the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of single pregnant mothers, girls that are not pregnant but have an infant, or young women who are pregnant with another young child (infant) with them. It is a safe haven where they can stay while learning the skills, get basic needs and counseling they need to make a better life for themselves and their babies.

Financial assistance to qualifying persons residing in the township for rent, utilities, medical expenses, and transportation expense. General Assistance is available to those who qualify. Emergency assistance is available one time only.

Special Olympics Nebraska
Training and competition in 20 Olympic-type sports to persons, age eight or older, with intellectual disabilities. Year round program, training and competition are offered in different sports at various times throughout the year.
Unified sports, where teams have equal numbers of traditional Special Olympics athletes and non-disabled partners on the same team.

Provides critical access, general Inpatient hospital services, outpatient Services, diagnostic Imaging, laboratory, general surgery, and has a 24 hour Emergency Room.
Rockford Park District - Washington Park Community Center
Parks and recreation department serving the city of Rockford. Provides a wide range of activities for individuals of all ages. Lewis Lemon Community Center (LLCC) and Washington Park Community Center (WPCC) also offer sports programs for youth.
LLCC and WPCC Sports: Community center members are invited to participate in various sports teams. All practices take place on site. Competitions take place between local community centers and other not for profit organizations.

Offers telephone counseling and information to help to families seeking developmental and parenting information, referrals to various community agencies, and/or seeking to learn more about Baby TALK Family Engagement programs.

Provides healthy aging classes held throughout the year at advertised locations addressing Fall Prevention (A Matter of Balance), Chronic Disease Self Management (Take Charge of Your Health; Live Well, Be Well), Caregiver Coping Skills (Stress Busting for Family Caregivers) and Diabetes Self Management (Take Charge of Your Diabetes).

CRIS Healthy Aging - Vermillion County
Provides supportive services to unpaid caregivers and relatives raising children. These services promote healthier aging and seek to prevent long-term care placement of older adults. Services offered include information about legal rights, supplemental services to complement caregiver services, assistance and information about gaining access to community resources, support groups, education, and counseling for caregivers and respite care for the caregiver.
Arc of the Quad Cities Area - QC Flex
Places individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in jobs throughout the Quad Cities Area. Job developers assess the needs of the employers as well as the skills and abilities of the individuals seeking employment.
Staff provide one-on-one support for adapting to the work environment. Job coaches advise individuals in career development and guide through transitions such as changes in supervisors, schedule/shift changes, and conflict management and are available for extra support throughout employment.
Iowa Department of Health and Human Services - Dubuque County
Offers FIP (Family Investment Program) a cash assistance program for children and their families who have low income, also available to relatives caring for children whose parents are not in the home. The goal of FIP is to help families leave poverty and become self supporting, can participate for up to 60 months. FIP is Iowa's Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.
Mid-Sioux Opportunity Outreach Office - Ida County
Assists low-income homeowners and renters pay for a portion of their primary heating costs for the winter heating season. Assistance is based on household income, size, type of fuel and type of housing. The application period is from October 1-April 30 for elderly and disabled households and November 1-April 30th for the rest of the households.
LIHEAP also offers a crisis program that may be able to assist homeowners who are with no heat or limited heat. The furnace component for crisis runs October 1-April 30th.
