State Supplement adds to the benefits of the federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Program to bring the income of aged and disabled individuals up to the need of standards of Nebraska. Additionally, some persons are not eligible for SSI payments, but qualify for a State Supplement payment because of different standards and regulations.

State Disability provides aid to needy persons who have a disability expected to last for at least six months, but less than the 12 months required to be eligible for the federal Supplemental Security Income Program.

Provides quality investigations to assist the court in decision making and to supervise those persons sentenced, under court order, in the community. Probation officers provide assistance and guidance to the offender.

- Low cost spay/neuter.

Tax preparation for low income individuals/families and senior citizens (60 and over). Family Service Coordinators are trained to help prepare tax forms and/or answer tax questions. All offices are equipped to e-file, and coordinators also assist with Homestead Exemption preparation. No self-employed or farm returns are prepared.

For the 2024 tax season, clients must contact their local office for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Provides assistance with paying for online tutoring services from certified instructors.

Provides a hot meal every 4th Monday to anyone who comes to the church.

Conducts peer review, a process by which the dental profession reviews and resolves problems or misunderstandings regarding dental treatment; the appropriate form will be sent to the patient. Once the complaint is received, it will be forwarded to the appropriate district for review. The peer review process handles only member complaints.

Education services provided through speaker's bureau or videos.

Provides a supplemental nutrition program that provides nutritious foods such as milk, cheese, eggs, cereal and infant formula at no cost to families with pregnant women or young children.

Meals include a choice of lunch and/or evening meal, both of which will be delivered around noon.

A deposit equivalent to 2 weeks delivery is included in the application process. No deliveries are made on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
