Sioux City Lions Club
Services include eye exams and glasses, hearing aids, eye donor cards, leader dog procurement, cornea transplants at University of Iowa, for those not covered by insurance or other programs.
Iowa Lions Kidsight: A cooperative sight project with the University of Iowa Hospitals. Pre-school children are screened by taking pictures of their eyes and sending the pictures to the U of IA Hospitals for evaluation. Parents are notified if their child is found to need eye care.

Recycles eye glasses, lenses, frames and hearing aids. Lions disassemble, measure, clean and inventory the various parts to be available for people of third world countries as VOSH teams determine prescriptions.
International Lions Foundation: Our club supports the ILF to a total of $1000 each three years. Lions members and others in the community contribute additionally.

Offers behavioral health services for adults, including: individual, marital, family, and group therapy, psychiatric evaluation, anger management, and case management.
DHS Family Community Resource Center - Bureau County
Helps low-income people and families buy food.
Offers the Restaurant Meals Program, which allows eligible SNAP customers to buy meals at authorized restaurants. (Available to SNAP customers who are homeless, elderly, and/or disabled.)
The LINK card is accepted at many farmers' markets.
Expedited/Emergency SNAP Benefits may be available (in 5 days or less from the date of application) to eligible clients if:
- Monthly income, cash, and bank accounts are less than client's rent or mortgage plus utility costs, OR
- Monthly income is less than $150 and client's cash and bank accounts are not more than $100, OR
- At least one person in the household is a migrant farm worker and client's cash and bank accounts are not more than $100.

Cross Outreach
Back to School Giveaway distributes backpacks filled with school supplies for Head Start -12th grade students from low income households. Free supplies for the first 1,500 kids. GIVEAWAY LOCATION: the 15 DMARC Food Pantries around Polk County will have school supplies to hand out for the bash. Backpacks will be available at the food pantries starting Fall 2026.
RAMP Disability Resources and Services - Winnebago County
A group that helps consumers with the tools and expectations necessary for them to guide their life now and in the future. Peer support is not designed to replace professional counseling, but it can serve as an additional support in improving the lives of people with disabilities. Support can come from one-on-one peer support with RAMP staff, board members, consumers, and community support groups.
