Offers library services and programs for everyone including story times for youth. Items that may be borrowed from or used in the library include DVDs, large print materials, audio books, magazines, and newspapers. The library also provides access to computers, WIFI access available, reference, and information services.

Provides a free meal to anyone in need. The meal can be picked up through the drive-thru every Tuesday.

Helps residents who are currently in long-term care facilities to move out of the nursing home and back into their community.

Provides individuals choices about where they can live, as well as assistance with community supports and services.

Offers special education services to children with disabilities ages 3 through graduation or through age 22. Students are identified through a full and individual evaluation and individualized education plan conference process. Students are referred through their school for social, emotional, and academic problems which significantly interfere with the student's progress in school. Prior to the evaluation and placement, a parent must be involved and give consent. Children may not be evaluated or placed without this parental permission. Children may be referred by the child's parent, teacher, or other individual who knows the child and his/her difficulties. Direct referrals by individuals outside the school building should contact the building principal. School psychologists, social workers, speech pathologists, and other relate.

Offers help with limited financial assistance (as funding allows) for basic needs such as rent, rent deposits, utilities, food, hygiene products, and more.

Clients must participate in ongoing case management.

The Farmers Markets offer fresh produce, herbs, meats, cheeses, baked goods, prepared foods, prepackaged foods and artisanal crafts for purchase. All eligible Omaha Farmers Market vendors accept Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) coupons as a form of payment.  SNAP cards accepted at these locations: SNAP tokens will be matched up to $20 with Double Up Food Bucks. These vouchers can be used on fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs. Hot meals delivered between 11 am and 1 pm.

Provides volunteers to tutor adults who need help with reading skills. On occasion, volunteers do math tutoring.

Provides childcare and preschool programs for children ages 6 weeks-5 years of age. 

Provides long term care, adult day services and hospice care.

Offers dental sealants to school children. This program works with Miles of Smiles, who have dentists and hygienists that come into the schools to perform dental exams and place sealants on molars.

Affordable, comprehensive primary health care especially for those with limited resources. Includes general physical exams and immunizations.

Services are provided regardless of ability to pay through a sliding fee discount program. Fees are calculated based on household size and documented annual income. All patients are eligible to apply for the sliding fee discount, even those with insurance.

Dental Clinic offers preventative dental services including: X-rays, exams, cleanings, fillings and extractions.

Pharmacy services offered to patients. Those eligible for the sliding fee program receive their medications at 30 to 50% below the retail market. Kohl's, Walgreens, Genoa, and Walmart fill all medications. Mobile Medical Clinic services, in which a van visits different locations to see patients.

HIV/STD testing provides confidential HIV/AIDS testing and counseling.

Transportation program provides a limited number of cab vouchers.

Mental health services are provided in-house through a partnership with Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, as well as being referred out to collaborating behavioral health agencies.

Prenatal care for women.

Radiology has certified x-ray technicians to provide limited x-ray services.

Medication assistance programs help uninsured and underinsured patients apply to various pharmaceutical companies. Staff complete applications for patients to obtain their medication at an affordable cost.

Translation services offered to non-English speaking patients. Languages include Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Kurdish, Burmese, Karen, and Thai.

Provides a team of trained volunteers who can mobilize resources to provide post-disaster mental health services. This team is sponsored by the Department of Human Services, Northeast Iowa Behavioral Health and County Social Services.
