Works with law enforcement, child protection services, physicians, state and county prosecutors, and other healthcare professionals who find themselves dealing with cases where questions of possible child abuse and neglect arise.

Provides complete physical exams, forensic photographic documentation, in-depth psychosocial assessments of the child and family, medical record reviews, hair sampling collections for drug exposures in children and adults, urine drug screen facilitation, courtroom testimony, educational presentations, and referrals to child protection services, law enforcement, mental health services, and substance abuse services.

Forensic interviewer and mental/behavioral family assistance available.

Provides a Child Support Recovery Unit program to assist (both public assistance and non-public assistance) families with child support recovery.

The program will assist customers needing health or dental assistance, up to $300, with vision screenings, prescription payments, prescribed lift chairs, hearing aid assistance, dental cleanings/services, etc.

Offers to facilitate contacts between community seniors and children in order to help create necessary social relationships and support systems for those in need.

Supports individuals during times of crisis through confidential conversions.

Provides evaluation and intervention services that identify developmental needs, deliver and coordinate early childhood special education programs.

Senior Care Options program available to older Nebraskans who are considering admission to a nursing home and may be eligible for Medicaid assistance. Clients are screened according to a standardized assessment process developed by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Care Managers arrange for services, which allow older adults to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible.

Housekeeping and supportive services to include grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, transportation and personal care.

Family Caregiver Support for those caring for an aging adult or grandparents caring for a minor child. Provides information, assistance, support group, respite care, and supplemental services.

Home delivered meals are provided to homebound by reason of illness, disability or isolation. The meals meet 1/3 of the daily dietary recommended needs of adults 60 years and over and the requirements of the Older Americans Act and state and local laws.

Public benefit services, legal assistance, education, Medicare filing, and volunteer training through SHIIP.

Builds safe and affordable housing for qualified homebuyers. Workshops on financial literacy and home maintenance available.

Medical case management services to help persons living with HIV or AIDS manage their diagnosis and any other needs in order to live healthy and empowered lives.

Serves as an information and educational resource on burns with a focus on awareness and prevention.  Offers free compression garments to burn survivors.  Provides support for those who just need to talk.

MS Navigators are highly skilled, compassionate professionals who help connect clients to the information, resources and support needed to move their life with multiple sclerosis forward.  These supportive partners help clients navigate the challenges of MS that are unique to their situation.

Care Coordinators serve as expert resources in evaluating the needs of the elderly, recommending services, and working with seniors in an ongoing relationship.

Once abilities have been determined, the care coordinators work in collaboration with the senior to develop a care plan. The care plan represents the best combination of services available to meet the needs of elderly clients.

Provides a resource for county residents who choose to represent themselves In court or have questions on divorce, child custody, paternity, and grandparent rights.
