CTF Illinois
Offers in home support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently in a home or apartment, sometimes with one or more roommates. Staff will provide as needed training and assistance with all aspects of living independently. Including cooking and cleaning skills, transportation, assistance with medical needs, making and keeping appointments, grocery shopping, paying bills and similar activities.
Carpenter's Place
Two-year transitional housing program for single men, single women, and homeless veterans. Residents meet with a case manager weekly. Additional housing programs are available for homeless men who are employed or employable and homeless male adults who have mental health concerns but are stable.
University of Illinois Extension - Saint Charles
Offers to help children in grades 4-12 develop knowledge and skills. Services include learning about citizenship, leadership, cooking, arts and crafts, mechanics and technology, horticulture, agriculture, and other subjects. To teach young people about these subjects, the 4-H program uses the learn-by-doing method of instruction.
North Central Behavioral Health Systems - LaSalle Office
Offers an 8-hour course that teaches how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training provides the skills needed to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing and mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
Also offers a course designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. Topics include depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
Camp Luther of Nebraska
Offers respite/retreat weekends during the year and weekly residential camps during the summer for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities ages 16 through adults.
Each camper is paired with a 'buddy' volunteer the entire time they are at camp; activities include but are not limited to: arts and crafts, singing, three-wheeled bikes, skits, campfire, hiking, scavenger hunts, swimming, canoes, waterslide, outdoor games, movies, dances, and talent show.
Cedar Rapids Vet Center - Main Office
Provides a Mobile Vet Center that travels to Mt. Pleasant and West Union. Counseling Center for Military Sexual Trauma cases no matter what the period of service. The center provides family and marital counseling, bereavement counseling, counseling for post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, anger and any issues dealing with readjustment.

Cradle, The
A safe, neutral place for infants to stay while their parents take the time they need to decide if adoption will be the plan for their child. Staffed with experienced infant aides, in close coordination with a registered nurse.
Thresholds - Woodstock Office
Provides mental health treatment and recovery services. Services include assessments, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, psychiatry, and medication management.
Embarras River Basin Agency (ERBA)
Provides up to $150 to families for utilities, diapers, groceries, gas for vehicles, and other needs.
Will County - Animal Control
Provides emergency pick-up for confined stray, injured, and aggressive animals. Responds to residents' reports regarding bites to humans caused by animals.
Development Services Center
Offers residential services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services are based upon an individual's needs and preferences. Residential services include community integrated living arrangements, the community living program, and the intermittent CILA.

Helping Hand Food Pantry
Provides a food pantry to those in need. Must live within the Chadwick-Milledgeville School District to access the food pantry. Meat, fresh fruits, vegetables, paper products and hygiene products are limited to their availability.
**If school is canceled in the morning due to weather on a Tuesday Pantry Day, the pantry will be rescheduled for Thursday of the same week with the same hours. If there is an early dismissal due to weather, the evening pantry hours (6:00- 7:30 PM) will be rescheduled for Thursday evening.
