Provides a senior center where seniors can come to share companionship, meals, and recreational activities. Services include congregate and home delivered meals, recreational activities that include a pool and exercise equipment, quilting, painting, bingo, exercise classes, and bowling.

Serves children with developmental delays and/or disabilities. Provides services for physical and speech therapy, as well as nutrition, audiology, counseling, etc.

Advises and aids veterans and their dependents in applying for federal benefits through compensation or pension claims. Emergency financial assistance for basic necessities such as rent, utilities, and food may be available. Can also assists with applications for benefits made available by federal, state or local laws.

Provides community resource flyers and information offering referrals to programming. Clothing vouchers as available, food pantry as available, and computer access. 

Offers the Adventure Pass, a program designed to help individuals and families check out area attractions for free. The pass can be checked out with a library card and allows free admittance to the Blank Park Zoo, Living History Farms and Reiman Gardens. The Adventure Pass must be printed when presented upon admission into the attractions along with a photo ID. Each pass allows admission for up to 4 people, including up to 2 adults and 2 children.

Offers a Disability Access Point, or "DAP", which helps individuals with disabilities, their families, and their caregivers find the services and support they need-both short-term and long-term. DAPs help by giving information, making plans, making referrals and checking in to make sure people are getting the right support to live healthy, independent lives.

Can help with the following services:

- Information and Assistance - Based on presented and identified needs, provides information about programs and services, and helps to connect individuals to service providers in their communities.

- Options Counseling - Provides guidance to individuals so that they may make informed choices about supports and services, typically over a period of 90 days or less. This includes benefits screening and application assistance for programs and services and follow-ups to make sure supports and decisions are assisting the individual.

- Short-term services and supports (STSS) - Include adaptive and assistive equipment, home and vehicle modifications, peer and parent support services, transportation assistance, and other basic needs (time- limited, not covered by insurance). For STSS, individuals will engage in a short-term person-centered plan around services and supports.

- Long-term services and supports - Includes adult day programs, consumer-directed attendant care (CDAC) (non-skilled and skilled), day habilitation, employment like job skills training, prevocational services, and supported employment, intensive residential services (IRSH), personal response systems, respite services like in-home, in-facility, and day camps, supported community living (SCL) and home-based habilitation (hourly), and residential living settings.

Loans out a limited selection of medical equipment including walkers, canes, shower seats, wheelchairs, and transfer seats. Items may be loaned for up to 90 days.

The following support groups run concurrently on first and third Thursdays at the Grace United Methodist Church, located at 112 North Walnut Street, Glenwood, IA 51534:

- Moms Off Meth Support Group.

- DAD (Dads Against Drugs) Support Group.

- NOT ALONE Children's Educational Support Group.

- Recovery Coaching.

Tax preparation for low and moderate income taxpayers of all ages, with special attention to people 60 and older, for the 2026 tax season.

Employment agency for job seekers with developmental disabilities.

Career planning, job placement, and ongoing support and consultation to employee and employer.

Provides community based day services, residential supports, and respite services.

Diversity training to employers on working with people experiencing developmental disabilities.
