Brown County Community Action Outreach Office
Works with income-eligible homeowners to make their homes safer and more energy efficient by eliminating heat loss and air infiltration areas in the home. After the initial assessment, recommendations on home improvements are given to the homeowner and the Weatherization team will coordinate repairs with contractors. Examples of common improvements include sealing cracks, insulating attics, or repairing windows and doors. All improvements are completed at no cost to the homeowner.
Additional priority is given to households with elderly, disabled, and young children.

Rockford Park District - Washington Park Community Center
Offers after school programs at Lewis Lemon Community Center (LLCC) and Washington Park Community Center (WPCC).
- LLCC After School Program: Enrichment program offered to Lewis Lemon students. Activities include homework help, board games, arts and crafts, gaming systems, and the opportunity to participate in organized basketball and football teams. A daily snack is provided. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the 1st Century Program, which offers help in reading, math, and science. The students of this program must be teacher recommended.
- LLCC Teen Evening Program: Offers open gym, gaming systems, and more. Staff keeps teens active and safe.
- WPCC After School Program: Provides an after school program for youth. A snack and boxed dinner are provided.

Provides mental health services that includes psychiatry, social work, counseling, psychology and nursing. Therapy and treatment are specifically oriented to each person, treating everyone as an individual.
Frequent mental health issues treated include depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, trauma-related issues, adjustment disorders, stress, aging issues, and parenting concerns.
Psychiatry is offered for adults and children through the use of telehealth/video-conferencing as well as face-to-face services. Nursing services are also provided in conjunction with psychiatry and include medication management.

Distribution, Dec 13, 2025 from 8 am-11 am. This will be a drive-in, drive-out event and packages will be loaded in vehicles. Children do not need to be present to receive a gift.
