Free universal home visit program offered to every family in Lancaster County who has recently welcomed a newborn into the home, or given birth, including foster or adoptive families and families experiencing infant loss.

A highly trained Registered Nurse comes to the client's home at around three weeks postpartum to assess mom and baby, including weight and measurements, offering lactation support, providing education on topics relevant to all families, and answering any questions.

Offers 24-hour chat line that allows survivors of domestic violence to speak with an advocate who will listen and provide emergency services if needed, Harbor House advocates are mandated reporters and will report threats of intimate harm to the proper authorities.

Coordinates community response to emergencies and disasters.

Offers inpatient treatment for a variety of mental health and substance use disorders, including depression, stress management, domestic abuse, obesity, drug addiction, substance abuse/dependence, life transitions and adjustment difficulties, coping skills, mood at anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, anger management, obsessive compulsive disorder, grief and loss, career, low self-esteem, relationship issue, panic disorder, peer relationships, and trauma. 

Court-ordered DUI evaluation services as well as risk education classes. Includes substance use treatment if indicated on evaluation.

Connects military spouses with hundreds of partner employers who have committed to recruit, hire, promote, and retain military spouses.

Blood collection services.

Accepts donations of new or gently-used items are needed for our clothing and household pantry. Items need to be clean, in good condition, in working order, and include all pieces. Damaged or broken items may be turned away. Donations should not be left outside. **Please Note: If you are bringing more than 5 boxes or bags of donations to the Bidwell Pantry, please schedule a delivery time. The WIC and SNAP outreach programs seek to assure that limited-English-proficient immigrants and refugees eligible for WIC and SNAP benefits can successfully access these programs administered by IDHS.

The Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) administers this program through a network of community-based partner agencies.

Offers Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, a tenant-based rent assistance initiative managed by local government offices, providing support to eligible households in Marshall, Tama, and Hardin Counties. Priority is given to elderly individuals, persons with disabilities, and households with children, with eligibility determined by income and criminal history guidelines.
