Provides financial assistance to individuals with disabilities and the agencies that serve them in Jo Daviess. The foundation requires the submission of grant applications in order to disburse funds. Immediate need funding requests may be submitted directly to the Executive Director or the Grant/Gifting Chair of the Hope Foundation of Jo Daviess County.

Requests for grants must be related, but not limited to:

- Health.

- Housing.

- Transportation.

- Education.

- Employment.

Implements annual fundraising campaigns within the service area. Works with 40-plus community partners to help those most in need. Campaigns within Wapello County service area invested programs that advance education, income and health.

Provides public foundation established to address the needs of girls and women in the Greater Des Moines area. Lead community improvement by assuring the well-being of girls and women through education, grant-making, and philanthropy.

Provides leadership to ensure the prevention and treatment of mental illness, developmental disabilities, substance abuse, and traumatic brain injury by identifying, planning, coordinating, fostering development, and contracting for quality services for all citizens. Responsibilities include allocating county funds designated for mental health services and providing community education programming.

Administers the federal family planning program by subcontracting with health clinics across Iowa for direct services. The organization refers low-income clients to these clinics for discounted or free family planning services, but does not provide direct clinical services

Safer sex supplies, including condoms, lube, emergency contraception, and pregnancy test strips, are available to all Iowans at no cost through the organization.

Coordinates an annual community-wide charitable fund raising campaign for local human services delivered through affiliated agency programs. Funds raised in the community are distributed to programs based on United Way focus areas of education, financial stability, and health.

Offers grants to Teachers and Parent-Teacher Organizations.  Offers four $1000 scholarships to students in the area served.

A non-profit charitable organization in Marshall County supporting 32 programs within 28 health and human service agencies in Marshall County. Can also provide information and referral to people seeking services. Offers volunteer opportunities and accept donations from the public in support of local agencies. A Foundation is also available for those wishing to make a perpetual legacy gift to the community.

Offers free books to children age 0-5.

Works to raise funds to help meet the funding needs of community organizations and allocates funding to a number of different non-profit agencies. Business contributions accepted.

Offers a place for individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to invest in the Muscatine County community. Disperses money to any number of different causes through one place. Donors can give to any 501c3 or government entity, avoiding administrative hassle and fees of family foundations.
