Plains Area Mental Health - Ida Grove
Outpatient therapy for children and adults. Therapies used include Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Lifespan Integration, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Technique, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Critical Incident Stress Management, Substance Use Disorder Psychotherapy, and Play Therapy.
Outpatient psychiatric services include evaluations and diagnosis, and medication management.
O'Brien County Outreach
Works with primary care providers who identify social/emotional or developmental concerns, family stressors, or caregiver depression during well child medical exams. If a condition is identified, the family is referred to a support specialist who provides care coordination. Specialists may provide referrals for developmental screening, mental health or behavioral health services, or other needs, and will monitor the family's progress.

Crisis Evaluation and Stabilization provides short-term care for individuals with mental health and developmental disabilities who need 24-hour supervision for safety during a crisis, without the added trauma of hospitalization. Stabilization includes a crisis evaluation.
Mobile Crisis Response and Outreach services provide on-site, face-to-face mental health services for an individual or family experiencing a mental health crisis. Can respond to wherever the crisis is occurring. Must call the 24-hour Crisis Line to access mobile crisis response teams. Call (855) 581-8111 for Mobile Crisis.

Compass
Works with families to identify new strategies for communication and relating. Also works with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD and past trauma.
Intensive Family Preservation: therapists and family skill builders work with families in their home to help prevent a child’s removal from the home into foster care. Each case consists of six weeks of intensive family therapy and support. Therapists are available to assist the family 24 hours a day with crisis situations, but also help to relieve conflicts so the family can remain intact. Administered in the family home and only available through a referral from a DHHS child and family specialist.
Outpatient Therapy Program: provides individual and family counseling and support to children in foster care, foster parents, and biological parents of children who have been removed from the home. We accept most insurance and offer payment solutions for uninsured or underinsured.
The outpatient clinic for mental health services is open to the community, available in the office or via telehealth. Therapists help clients work through mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, a bi-polar disorder, addiction, PTSD, dementia, grief, loss and more.

Mosaic Family Counseling Center - Perry

Assessment services: Mental health evaluation for bariatric surgery. STEPPS: A Dialectical Behavioral Therapy group to help manage high emotions or Emotionally Intense episodes. A therapeutic group that includes a skill building process that builds upon each other.
Stairways: An advanced group for those who have completed the STEPPs group. The group teaches a variety of emotional and behavioral management skills that build off of foundations learned in STEPPs.
