Facilities and membership includes: two-court gymnasium, indoor lap fitness swimming pool, indoor family fun pool, over 40 pieces of cardio equipment, free weights and weight equipment, aerobic/fitness studio classes, and child watch. Personal training is available, as well as youth sports leagues and swim lessons all year round. Y-Club is available during the school year for after school care.

All-day preschool and infant care available.

Offers a variety of parks, trails, and programs for all ages, as described in periodical activity guides that are available online or from any FVPD facilities.

Offers programs focusing on disease and injury prevention for older adults and caregivers.

Clinic services provide comprehensive foot care, health assessments, health screenings (which include blood pressure, cholesterol/triglycerides, glucose, bone density), ear wax removal, medication, and safety checks.

Offers fitness and health education classes and physical activity programs for community, church, and social groups. Programs cover illness and injury prevention, physical activity, nutrition, and mental wellness.

Offers a variety type of movement programs. Including free yoga programs dance classes, martial arts, physical fitness training and more. 

Offers a senior center for older adults ages 55 and older. Programs and services include arts and crafts, cards and games, computer, internet and printing services, day trips and tours, educational classes, health clinic services, fitness classes, a monthly AARP driver safety courses, or financial assistance may be available for those who qualify.

Provides recreation, sports, and fitness activities. Services include a summer camp, field trips, special visitors, recreation games, a aquatics center, dance classes, and more. 

Offers exercise classes for adults.

Offers youth and adult fitness classes, swim lessons, arts and crafts classes, and more.

Offers yoga classes for free to individuals currently undergoing cancer treatment as well as cancer survivors and YMCA members. Services include a range of class styles for all experience levels, with options for low, medium, and high intensity. 

12-week exercise program for the healthy aging population.  The goal is to improve overall health and building confidence to participate in future exercise programs.  

Provides exercises to help with weight transference which improves balance and prevents falls.

- Lawn Mowing and Snow Shoveling Program: (waitlist) Senior and disabled residents with standard yard size may qualify for the lawn-mowing and snow removal.

- Ride in Kane: Eligible residents are offered subsidized curb-to-curb transportation available all day and night, year-round.

Services include swimming lessons, water exercise, wading pools, fitness swims, arts programs, dance classes, preschool classes, physical fitness (aerobics), and more. Adult evening programs include tennis, softball, basketball, volleyball, and other sports.

Offers a childbirth education course to prepare parents for birth. Topics include labor, delivery, breathing, relaxing techniques, medications, epidurals and medical procedures. This course is also available on demand from home. Also offers a breastfeeding class and a Moms in Motion aquatic fitness class designed for prenatal women and includes gentle stretching, strengthening and cardiovascular exercise. 

Offers activities including game days (cards, bingo, Nintendo Wii games, life-size Jenga); craft activities (painting, crocheting and adult coloring); jam sessions for those who play an instrument or enjoy singing a tune; and Wandering Wednesdays bus trips to explore the destinations around the city and region.

Fitness classes including Silver Sneakers, line dancing, Tai Chi and self-defense classes.

Healthy cooking classes.

Kaleidoscope Cafe Meals are served at 11:30 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays, catered by Hy-Vee - Papillion Shadow Lake. Registration is required by 11 am the day before, and the center can accommodate a maximum of 50 guests during each lunch. Lunches cost $5 per person. Members are also allowed to register a guest of any age to accompany them for the same price.
