School-based outreach and intensive services to help junior and high school students overcome challenges and stay in school.
Services include:
- Individual and group counseling
- Home visits with families
- In-school conflict mediations
- Building skills in areas of conflict resolution, anger management, impulse control, goal setting, and links to academic skills
Family Service Association of Lincoln
Child Saving Institute
Provides voluntary home-based family support. Children are referred to the program by Omaha Public Schools personnel based on the youth’s behavior at school, attendance, and other individual challenges.

Grant Wood Area Education Agency - Sixth Street Facility and Conference Center
Provides access to standardized tests that are administered annually for children who are home schooled.
Broadlawns Medical Center
Offers the FOCUS programs that serves children in grades 3 through 8 who are not able to function adequately within the school setting or at home. Cooperative effort of Broadlawns and the Des Moines Independent School District. The program is open to all children and is not limited to Des Moines Public School students.

Provides mental health services to students, including those who are at risk of being extruded from the school community due to unmet mental health needs.
