Medical Advocacy:

Trained advocates respond to local hospitals 24-hours a day. They can accompany a survivor through the evidence collection and medical treatment process. Advocates provide support, give information about options and rights, and assist with safety planning.

Legal Advocacy:

Legal advocates can assist with navigating the civil and criminal justice process. This includes assistance in filing for Civil No Contact and Stalking No Contact Orders. They can also help individuals assert their rights as crime survivors and accompany them to meetings with officials and court hearings.

Provides care for sexual assault victims. Nurses provide emotional support, a physical examination and wellness check. Will also collect medical-forensic evidence, assist with reporting the crime to police, when requested (mandatory reporting for children), assist with concerns about sexually transmitted infection and pregnancy, and development of a medical follow-up plan.

Provides a crisis-based shelter offering comprehensive support to victims and their children fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, stalking, and other violent crimes. The shelter operates 24/7 and provides free, confidential services including crisis intervention, safety planning, case management, information, education, referrals, counseling, support groups, court advocacy, medical advocacy, transportation, and assistance with basic needs such as food, clothing, personal hygiene supplies, and laundry. Child advocacy and housing location support are also available. 

Safe place for children to be interviewed by a forensic interviewer and receive forensic medical exams.

Referrals to mental health services and support groups and following the case through the legal system.

Community educational presentations.

Assist parents in reporting abuse or following up on reports already made.

Hair testing and medical exams to determine if a child has been exposed to illegal drug, gather evidence, and access safety plan
