- Augmentative/Alternative Communication uses high-tech devices and low-tech strategies to facilitate communication and speech development.

Provides employment, training on using smart phones and computers and other technology for anyone who can’t see a screen clearly, orientation and mobility services, recreational and cultural programs (including audio description services) adapted for people with limited or no vision.

Includes information and referral, service coordination, independent living skills training, individual and system advocacy, equipment loan and rental, equipment repair, barrier removal consultations and grants, peer mentoring, and disability awareness training. Personal assistant referral and management program.
