Specialist referrals for services not available at the clinic are made for all patients. Appointments for patients without insurance and/or limited income are made through Hope Medical Outreach Coalition volunteer physicians and facilities.

Maternal Health provides information about what to expect during pregnancy, including how to deal with physical and emotional changes and advice to prepare for the arrival of the new baby. Can also provide vitamins and help with locating health care providers. Child and Adolescent Health coordinates free dental services, including screenings and fluoride varnishes. Can also perform blood lead testing and provide information and referrals to health and dental care services in the area, including mental health.

  Pediatric Developmental Screening provides evaluation and assessment to determine whether there are developmental delays or other issues that need to be addressed.

  WIC provides healthy food, nutrition education and counseling, and breastfeeding support for pregnant and breastfeeding individuals, infants, and children. Also provides referrals for health care and other services.

  Family Case Management provides family case management services to pregnant individuals, infants, and children with high-risk medical conditions. Also offers assistance with help finding a doctor for prenatal

Provides public health services to Lucas County communities, offering programs and support including home care, health care for women and children, immunizations, mental health administration, and early childhood development. Health promotion activities include fall and diabetes prevention programs. Routine general physical examinations are available for health assessment and screening. Lead poisoning screenings are provided for children via blood tests to identify lead ingestion, which may include housing inspections to identify environmental hazards and prevent further occurrences. Homemaker assistance is available to families experiencing disruptions due to illness or disability, offering support with meal preparation, child care, and housekeeping. Environmental health services and information on communicable diseases are also provided. Services are open to the public..

- Periodic "head to toe" well-child exams for children from birth to 18 years of age

Clinics are held in Kewanee at the Health Department office.

-- Children (age 6 months to 6 years) should be tested for lead poisoning.

-- Illinois state law requires all children entering state operated day care, nursery school, preschool, or kindergarten to provide proof of a blood level assessment.

-- Women planning to have a baby should be tested for lead.

Provides families with support and services related to lead poisoning and poisoning prevention and is housed in the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH). Primary CLPPP services are provided to families with children under 6 years in age. Services include case management, home nursing visits, referrals for nutrition and developmental services, environmental assessments and inspections for lead. There are currently 19 contracted childhood lead programs that provide services in 48 counties. IDPH provides services in the remaining 51 counties.
