Community Health at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center
Offers a number of health screenings. Screenings can be scheduled for corporate events or individual appointments can be made during in office screening dates. Screenings include:
- Cholesterol/glucose blood tests.
- Peripheral artery disease (pad) screening.
- Blood pressure screenings.
- Personal wellness profile/health risk assessment.
- Bone density heel screening.
- Health assessments (body composition analysis, body mass index, waist-hip ratio).
Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD), most common in people over 50 years old, is a medical condition in which arteries in the legs are clogged or narrowed. To promote early detection and treatment, OSF St. Joseph Medical Center is offering PVD screenings to the community or business upon request. Classes, programs, and events can be viewed on website.

--Immunizations are available for persons of all ages. Red Willow County Health Department accepts private insurance and also has programs for free immunizations for individuals without insurance.

Tuberculosis prevention and case management.
Immunizations for children and adults, including flu vaccines. COVID vaccines available in office or at home.
Screening and treatment for cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cholesterol, and depression.
Routine services such as pap smears, school physicals, prenatal visits, well baby exams, physicals and other routine healthcare procedures. Follow-up visits for patients with diabetes, elevated blood lead levels, hypertension, behavioral health concerns, and other on-going health problems are also routine activities at the clinic.
Health education is integrated into each patient's visit. Nutrition, disease prevention and management are taught to patients individually and in groups. Educational follow-up, care coordination, management and peer education, including care for sexually transmitted diseases, latent tuberculosis, high lead levels, prenatal care, and care for chronic diseases (asthma, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and depression).
Specialist referrals for services not available at the clinic are made for all patients. Appointments for patients without insurance and/or limited income are made through Hope Medical Outreach Coalition volunteer physicians and facilities.
Aging Partners - Headquarters
Offers programs focusing on disease and injury prevention for older adults and caregivers.
Clinic services provide comprehensive foot care, health assessments, health screenings (which include blood pressure, cholesterol/triglycerides, glucose, bone density), ear wax removal, medication, and safety checks.
Offers fitness and health education classes and physical activity programs for community, church, and social groups. Programs cover illness and injury prevention, physical activity, nutrition, and mental wellness.

Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department - Williamson County
Provides information and services related to health and wellness topics, including heart health, cholesterol, blood pressure screening, smoking cessation, diabetes, obesity, and physical activity. Offers blood pressure screenings to identify individuals at risk for hypertension-related conditions, cholesterol and triglycerides tests to assess cardiovascular health, and hypoglycemia screenings to detect blood sugar deficiencies. Additionally, provides diabetes management support, including education on self-management skills, dietary planning, exercise, and prevention of complications. Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public Health
Federally funded program that pays for office visits associated with Pap tests, pelvic exams, clinical breast exams and lab fees. Age appropriate mammography is covered, as well as a limited number of diagnostic tests. EWM provides screening and diagnostic tests, public education, professional education and training, surveillance, evaluation and quality assurance activities.
Offers free or low-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings for those between 21 and 64 years of age.
Many women are eligible for free or low-cost breast cancer screenings (clinical breast exams and mammograms), and cervical cancer screenings (Pap test and pelvic exams). For those between 35 and 64 years of age, the program also provides heart health (blood pressure) and diabetes (blood glucose and cholesterol) screenings.
Fifth Street Renaissance/SARA Center
Offers health services and education, focusing on HIV, Hepatitis C, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia counseling and testing. Also provides overdose prevention with Nasal Narcan, and the distribution and training for Fentanyl and Xylazine test strips. Other services offered include blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol screenings, Risk Reduction Counseling with safer sex supplies, and Harm Reduction Counseling with safer use supplies.Â
