Provides services to students to help them become successful learners and remain at grade level with age peers. Services are intended to improve personal self-esteem/worth through guided learning and a personal tutor. Scholarships are available through the LCCCY.

The program offers the following free services to eligible students: professional tutoring, supplemental instruction (peer tutoring), advising, lunch workshops (topics include study skills, time management, and financial literacy), scholarship assistance, cultural events such as museum and theater visits, and a student parent support group.

Faith based, after school youth program offering tutoring and recreational activities for middle and high school students. Open to 11-19 year olds. Provides a relational, holistic, community-based ministry in which City Life teams raise up indigenous leaders from the young people living in the community.

Students meet weekly after school on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for a family-style meal, games, activities, and discussion at The Underground City Life Teen Center.

Offers a family-oriented center that provides tutoring and homework help. 

Provides after-school and summer programs. Youth receive academic support, mentoring and life skills education, and opportunities to engage in positive recreational activities and service learning projects.

Also provides Youth Intervention Services: Individualized care plan created for youth identified to require more one on one support to address social-emotional concerns.

Provides opportunities for refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and other immigrants to thrive in America. Services include:

Reception and Placement: Meeting critical needs in the early months after arriving in the United States. IRC staff and community partners ensure newly arrived refugees are greeted at the airport, have a furnished home, receive time-limited rental assistance, have access to nutritious food, healthcare and education, and are given appropriate social services referrals.

Employment Services: Early self-sufficiency through employment is the foundation of the US Refugee Program. IRC staff and volunteers provide job readiness training, vocational counseling, resume preparation, job search and placement services, and financial assistance for basic needs with the goal of helping refugees find their first job in America. Employment services are provided to refugees for up to five years from their date of arrival.

Intensive Case Management: Some refugees face barriers that make rapid employment difficult. Others face cultural barriers that require additional training and orientation support to learn to navigate American systems independently. Still others face crisis after an initial period of stability. For those refugees, IRC provides intensive case management services for up to five years after arrival.

Financial Coaching: Financial Coaching at IRC offers new Americans and other vulnerable populations an opportunity to build their financial knowledge, skills, and assets. Through a combination of one-on-one coaching and financial education classes, IRC delivers innovative, effective programs by combining evidence-based strategies with an unparalleled ability to deliver culturally and linguistically accessible programs. As a result of these programs, people are able to build their family income and assets, contributing to the economic vibrancy of communities across America.

Can also offer youth tutoring and mentoring for those in the community that need a little extra help.

Offers free educational services to individuals aged 16 and older, including GED/HSE preparation classes, online GED/HSE preparation, reading readiness, job skills, math readiness, healthcare, manufacturing, ESL (English as a Second Language), and transition skills classes. Citizenship education is available to help individuals understand U.S. history, government, and culture, and prepare for the responsibilities of citizenship. Literacy services and tutoring are provided to eligible individuals. Additionally, the program serves as a test site for high school equivalency exams such as the GED, HiSET, and TASC, enabling participants to obtain a high school equivalency certificate.

Offers reading, Literacy, and Homework help during after school programming for K-12th grade students.

Offers a before and after school program. Services provide children individual and group tutoring, as well as mentoring services to decrease school suspensions and to address the mental health and academic needs. Children are given a snack and provided with homework assistance, life skills, and recreational activities.

Provide life-long learning opportunities by partnering with schools, families and neighborhood residents to promote youth development and stronger communities through before and after school programs, Community Learning Centers and youth summer programs.
